This forum is where you can submit ideas you may have for future improvements to our software systems. All ideas submitted are received and read thoroughly and repeatedly. We do not provide individual responses or detailed status updates on feature suggestions, but all your ideas are valued and considered. Some ideas take just a few days, some will take years, and some may not happen, but they all start by submitting them here. Any ideas you have are welcome!

Allow to save similar availibility for multiple dates at once
When I am scheduling my availibility, and I am available after 3:30 pm from Monday to Friday, for example, there should be an option to do this all at once.

game ID?
Is there a way to include our own game number into the schedule as opposed to your Game ID?

List the name of the TOWN, ST after the name of the rink
Or can you make that a filter option. Listing by states or even towns would be helpful. Even scrolling down the list of rink names if they also had the ( town name, state ) also
1 voteWe've decided to keep our existing functionality for this. We leave location name formatting up to the individual officiating organizations and allow them to decide how best to format the names of their locations. We recommend recaching out to your officiating organization if you'd like to see changes to their naming scheme.

Links a subscribed calendar to your account
Create a subscribed calendar linked to your horizon account that automatically places games into an iPhone calendar, for example, once they are accepted and placed into your game schedule.

Scheduling
Create a way to sync the game schedule on Horizon to an iPhone Calendar. I put everything in my calendar and I have to manually enter every single game, so an automatic entry into the iPhone calendar once a game is accepted would be nice.

multiple site connection
i have several sites and plan to add three more-- is there away for me to link all sites so i can view daly or a way to pull up on spreadsheet for all sites?

Allows for the officials to communicate together in order to switch games between themselves if possible.
Basically the idea is that a referee is assigned a certain amount of games for the year. This referee can decide for a night that he wants to plan something to not referee the games that he has already taken, by posting the games on another page on the site in which all other referees can see those games and can pick them up if they so desire, working on a first come, first serve basis.

On the main schedule page, be able to click on the game notes and see what the pay is for each position before you schedule officials.
I would like to be able to see the pay for each position when looking at the main schedule. Either click on the 0/2 officials and have it drop down and tell me what the pay is for each slot, or click on the game notes before I schedule officials and have it show what each position pays.

Friend Other Officials
Create a system where officials who know each other can friend each other on the website/app, and request each other for games, allowing greater opportunities for meetups between knowing officials and carpools for officials who can't drive themselves.

allows teams to check if refs are assigned to their games
As our associations use different software to schedule games and sometimes information from association to ref assignors gets missed, we require coaches to check 3 to 4 days before game date/time to make sure game is in the system(minimal info required). Our ref association had this in their previous software and it would be very helpful.
Essentially, all that is required is a listing of games in your system sorted by date.
You could have a page designed with an input field of association, level of play and date, and the output would be a simple list of date/time, game…

Make availability calendars OPEN by default instead of closed.
Make the default setting on officials availability calanders as OPEN instead of closed. This would make assigning so much easier than having officals to go in and manually open up dates

Being able to add multiple Bill To's on import with a CVS would be very helpful.

Umpire Profile/History
I would like a spot to put in information about an umpires history/experience. Maybe a "Bio" section? Something that either the umpire or the admin could update and then when two umpires have never worked together before, they can go to this information and have an idea of who they will be working with (as an umpire). So a spot that umpires or admin could put past umping experiences and levels. ie - worked the 1999 Little league world series, or has umpired at the high school level, etc. Basically a way to list an umpires experience.

Tournament set up
On a regular basis we have school holiday tournaments or school tournament that run over the course of a few days and are separate from the week to week championships.
It would be good to have a separtate match schedule within horizon to register and appoitnt available referees.1 voteAlready exists.

Allow Athletic Directors to be linked to SITES in addition to a school.
When setting relations - allow an AD to be linked to a field/gym etc... instead of just to a school.

Game details in assignment notice
Referees need to see the game details to know if they need to look at the game faster. If they see the game is in the next few days, they know to login immediately confirm. If it's just the normal informationless indication that doesn't convey an urgent need to login right away, that makes extra work for the assignor chasing them to reply.
The previous reason for declining this at https://horizonwebref.uservoice.com/forums/66397-feature-requests/suggestions/1536029-have-the-game-details-in-the-email-that-is-sent-ou was poor. This should be a group setting decision based on what the group thinks is best for their needs.
