This forum is where you can submit ideas you may have for future improvements to our software systems. All ideas submitted are received and read thoroughly and repeatedly. We do not provide individual responses or detailed status updates on feature suggestions, but all your ideas are valued and considered. Some ideas take just a few days, some will take years, and some may not happen, but they all start by submitting them here. Any ideas you have are welcome!

Allow Setting Availability via Multiple feature to be Set for Every OTHER week
I like at least a few others have my kids every other weekend come stay with me. It's be nice if I could set my availability up using the multiple feature where I could "check off" every other week, or "every two weeks. That way the weekends I dont have my kids I can request those days to be available (instead of having to click on each day)...they have it on Gameofficials.net (I requested it there too and they did it...and it gives the ability to set it 52 weeks ahead....)

Tracks the number of schedule changes done
I would like to have the system generate a report for the number of reassignments that are done, and who is asking for the reassignments. I think this information could be of great use as an assignor for future assignments and tracking the added work.

Add export to excel option for ratings
Add an export for coaches/observer ratings and comment to excel - this would allow supervisors to sort by official being rated, coach and observer for viewing. Would allow like comments to evaluated for official feedback

When Linking games, allow check mark to remain in place until an official is selected.
After the linking request is selected, the check disappears. with a large number of games displayed it's somewhat difficult to find the game(s) especially with multiple officials per contest.

Add Multi-Select to Custom Profile Fields
In the Custom Profile Fields it would really be a benefit if a Multi-Select box option was made available so Umpires could be asked to check off the divisions they would like to work.

Allows for a message to be entered on the auto-email with the reason for deactivating an official from the association.

Provide Visible Indication of Inconsistent Availability
As a member of multiple associations, sometimes I forget to check the (very small) "Apply to all associations" checkbox and my availability gets out of sync, resulting in cranky assignors.
It would be helpful if there were some visual indication in the availability calendar that the displayed values don't apply to all associations so it's possible to know to check other associations. Maybe a icon in the corner.

Add an option to sort by linked games on the public schedule so officials can see what sets are available.

Email game details to a third party
If there is a new, or different group, where all they need is the details of a game, it would be nice to be able to email. Currently, I will print the game details page, scan as a pdf, and email. It would be nice to have an email button similar to the print button...

Personal Payroll Filter, assignor paid vs paid by team
Add a filter option in personal payroll, so a general member can search for games paid by team, or search for games paid by assignor.

Allow mileage to be calculated when importing assignments
When importing a schedule, allow mileage to be updated/calculated for 1 or 2 slots (similar to auto-assign).
If the mileage amount changes, there is no way to go an update all games except individually.

Adding a filter to the Master Game Schedule so we could select a day of the week within a date range
I would like to pick a specific community or league for a Tuesday for example and the same field number so I could schedule the same umpire on that field all summer long. It makes it easier to schedule instead of just going everyday of the week for that community. We have set schedules for many umpires and then fill in the blanks for the games left over with whoever is available. This would make scheduling even easier for us!

Separate ratings by game codes
I would like to be able to view the officials that officiate certain game codes and rank them. Now an official that is officiating lower game codes may be doing very well and he is ranked at the top and an official that is officiating higher level game that are more difficult his ratings might not be as good therefore his ranking is much lower. The old idea of apples to apples not apple to oranges.

Allows Me to Block Certain Assignors from being able to use a particular position
We have one assignor that handle on ice officials but many assignors that handle just time keepers. We definitely do not want any of the assignors that assignor timer keepers any access to edit any on ice officials schedules. Limiting an assignor to just the positions of "Time Keeper" would be great. Or even better would be for time keeper directory to be entirely separate and limit the assignor to only see timers or only see on ice officials.
With more than 20 time keeper assignors it would be a disaster to give them access to edit on ice officials…

Allow Coaches and AD's to View Member Roster
It appears that coachs and Ad's have the option to view the Coaches, AD, Field, and League Contacts. But not the officials. As an optional setting, allow them to be able to view the officials roster.

Invoicing saving
When creating a invoice there is a spot the invoice automactically goes and is saved on the system showing open, once the league has paid the invoice, you can archive it and move on.

Automatically update game ID's set by user default.
Under System Settings>Preferences>Set your own Game ID's. When you chose yes, add a box to add a starting numerical value. So they automatically update every time, instead of needing to add every time.
