Feature Requests

This forum is where you can submit ideas you may have for future improvements to our software systems. All ideas submitted are received and read thoroughly and repeatedly. We do not provide individual responses or detailed status updates on feature suggestions, but all your ideas are valued and considered. Some ideas take just a few days, some will take years, some may not happen, but they all start by submitting them here. Any ideas you have are welcome!

  1. Master Game Schedule - # column

    It would be great if the # column on the MSG could be colour coded to reflect whether all positions have been assigned. currently it shows 3/3 or 2/3. when we have 100 plus games in a day, it would be nice to see at a glance which ones are filled and which aren't by colour (ex: green if filled, red if not). I know this can kind of be done by the filters for filled games, but for those of us that like to look at the day as a whole and be able to see what remains unfilled,…

  2. Milage reports for the year for Tax purposes.

    Allow the officials to go in and run a report to get their milage for Tax purpose each year. Each year I am asked by our officials if they can run a report, and get their milage and game fee totals, without having to add it all up per game.

  3. Allows you to put in notes even if you are not available for the full day

    this a request that you reconsider not allowing us to place notes on the availability calendar when unavailable the entire day. i know this request has been rejected in the past, but it would be really helpful to able able to jot a quick note for full day unavailability as we can do for other statuses (including all day availability).

  4. Allow for Permission role at the Game Code Level within an Association

    Allow permissions for League Personnel (or other non-official user) to be to specific game codes within and association. Would allow to give permission to view at certain age levels within a League.

    It would be nice if a Game Note could be added while adding a single game so that we don't have to back out, go to the schedule, and then add the game note afterwards.

  7. Can you create a filter for assignors that filters for Home team.

    Right now, I can filter by my team and the rink they where they are scheduled. I see BOTH their away games and their home games at other rinks. The HOME games are the only games that concern me as the assignor. Is there a way to add a filter in the "Schedule and Search" window to show Home team?

  8. Creates Email Groups based on the District you are assigned to

    Allow for automatic email group based on the District you are assigned to. So if you are assigned to District "X" for all of your games, then you will be a part of that Email Group which is dynamic as new members are removed and added this will change accordingly so we don't have to maintain it.

    If you are a part of more than one district, then you will automatically added to multiple email groups and removed from these groups as your district associations are modified.

  10. On the main schedule page, be able to click on the game notes and see what the pay is for each position before you schedule officials.

    I would like to be able to see the pay for each position when looking at the main schedule. Either click on the 0/2 officials and have it drop down and tell me what the pay is for each slot, or click on the game notes before I schedule officials and have it show what each position pays.

  13. Friend Other Officials

    Create a system where officials who know each other can friend each other on the website/app, and request each other for games, allowing greater opportunities for meetups between knowing officials and carpools for officials who can't drive themselves.

  14. TBA counters should show how many officials requested a TBA for all schedulers across an organization to see

    The TBA counter on the Master Schedule should alert how many TBAs there are across the site so when co-schedulers are trying to schedule, its a quick glance to see if there are any requests, so the co-scheduler doesn't need to go to "add official" for every game TBAed to see if there are any TBAs requested across the organization.

  16. allows search criteria to be saved

    I'd like to be able to set and maintain search criteria for both the TBA requests and my schedule. For example, my assigner has a large geography with hundreds of possible locations (rinks). A small percentage of those are close to me. So when I search TBAs. I'd like to be able to specify which locations I'm interested in, and keep those selections from session to session. Same idea w the schedule. For example, I'd like to always hide cancelled games. There're lots of them these days, and they just clutter the schedule display results.

  18. allows teams to check if refs are assigned to their games

    As our associations use different software to schedule games and sometimes information from association to ref assignors gets missed, we require coaches to check 3 to 4 days before game date/time to make sure game is in the system(minimal info required). Our ref association had this in their previous software and it would be very helpful.

    Essentially, all that is required is a listing of games in your system sorted by date.

    You could have a page designed with an input field of association, level of play and date, and the output would be a simple list of date/time, game…

  19. Ability to search for referees by first or last name

    Many times we now other referees only by their first name. Currently, if we need to contact someone who's last name we do not know, we have to manually look through every name.

  20. Add a VSP to System Setting 52 to prevent unqualified officials from seeing and requesting games they are not qualified for.

    System setting 52, as is, allows an official to give an assignment to an unqualified official, even with the warning. This results me and assignors getting an "TBA Unqualified Warning!", which then means we now have to react and fix the problem, i.e., reassign the game to a qualified official. That, of course, completely defeats the benefits of allowing officials to swap assignments among themselves.

    The ultimate goal of the TBA System is to ensure the game is covered and has assignments filled however, with system setting 52, officials are trying to swap games that are already covered and assignment…
