This forum is where you can submit ideas you may have for future improvements to our software systems. All ideas submitted are received and read thoroughly and repeatedly. We do not provide individual responses or detailed status updates on feature suggestions, but all your ideas are valued and considered. Some ideas take just a few days, some will take years, and some may not happen, but they all start by submitting them here. Any ideas you have are welcome!

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.

  1. Reporting on Membership

    We rank our officials (1, 2, 3) based on games worked, test score, and years of service. It would be great if we could run reports (like web enabled pivot tables) within HWR, including on custom fields.

  2. enables to set one specific zip code as the center point for flat rate mileage calculation as opposed to each individual umpire's zip code.

    When using a flat rate mileage from a center point it would be easier to calculate the mileage using the center point zip code as opposed to each umpire's home zip code.

  3. Provide Officials with a Payroll Report CSV export option

    The "Exportable Version" option does very little good when trying to put a usable payroll report together that I can use for end-of-year tax reporting. P
    Being able to export my payroll games in a manipulable file format would be highly useful.
    Or add the Fee Column to the Schedule Export to CSV option, as that's the important information.

  4. contact crew by SMS

    currently I can contact the game crew by email, but I would like the option to do this by SMS. Most communication between officials is by text - especially if it is close to game time. Young referees don't check their email regularly - I need to contact them by text.

  5. Don't allow officials to give games to unqualified officials using the TBA System.

    At this time, any official can request any game from another official using the TBA system, even if they aren't rated. This causes the assignors to constantly be monitoring the alerts. Is there a way to have it as a preference if the organization does not want unqualified officials to be able to request those games? It is good for them to see the games if they are in a set, but not be able to 'grab' them.

  6. Expand Manual Game ID Length to 12 Characters

    Hello,

    The game import is an important feature to bring games in from associations. The Game ID field is limited to 8 characters however some of the games being imported have up to 12 characters due to the association settings.

    Would it be possible to change the field length from 8 to 12? This will greatly assist with game updates as they come in. They can be updated en masse rather than one by one.

  7. Scheduling Fee

    Users (officials) would have to pay a fee at the start of the season to use HorizonWebRef. The fee would be set by the system admin and a percentage would go to Horizonwebref.

  8. Allow Assigners to send a TBA when game has been turned back

    I have games that are turned back, but dont want to remove the official until I have found a replacement, but send a TBA. (our officials do not have the authority to send TBA only assigners)

  10. System default for teams. Instead of blank put TBA and TBA2 in the teams block or a setting for us to determine the default setting.

  11. has a column in the 'bill tos' section of the members directory that shows which bill to the member is attached to

    next to the contact to feature which bill to the member is attached to. This should be a very quick and simple fix and would help me a lot. When I am asked to contact one of our bill to's... I currently just look at which town they live in and hope its the right person...

  14. Customize game report fields

    Allow league/assignors to customize fields to be filled out in a required game report. The base report is overly complex, where most reports can get by with a simple score, team names, and field conditions.

  15. Hide score in the master schedule if not submitted

    After an official submits a game report, the score shows up on the master schedule... unless the scosre is 0 to 0, then it APPEARS as though no one submitted a game report! How about if you make it so that 0 to 0 scores show up on the master schedule as 0 to 0 once a game report is filed. Thank

  16. Only require 1 rating per linked game set

    If there are linked assignments, only have one rating fellow official requirement. For example, not have to rate fellow official 3 times for each of the 3 linked games

  17. On your Incident reports. Please put a drop down that gives a choice between 'CAUTION" (or yellow) and "disqualification" (or red) card.

  19. flat rate mileage based on location

    Allow for mileage to be paid strictly based on the location of the game. Park A pays $10, Park B pays $12, etc. We don't care where the official is coming from, mileage is paid based on where the game is.

  20. Print adjustments for a specific time frame.
