This forum is where you can submit ideas you may have for future improvements to our software systems. All ideas submitted are received and read thoroughly and repeatedly. We do not provide individual responses or detailed status updates on feature suggestions, but all your ideas are valued and considered. Some ideas take just a few days, some will take years, and some may not happen, but they all start by submitting them here. Any ideas you have are welcome!

Indicates officials assigned to a game in the Live Public Schedule.
Our Sporting body has embedded the Live public schedule into their web page. Unfortunately, the schedule doesn't tell you if an official has been assigned to a game. Understanding that privacy rules prevent the publication of names in the schedule, could there be a Symbol or an asterisk with the number of officials assigned to a game. Clubs will then know if they have to get volunteers to officiate.

"Group Name" a column on export for availability
We assign games by local regions. Each official is put into a group representing that region. Currently there is no way to export the entire staff and sort by group. This means if I have 27 groups to assign for, I have to manually export each of the 27 groups each time I assign. By adding a "group name" column, I could sort it in Excel.

Swap officials in the Mass Edit
If an official gets hurt, sick or can't make the group of assigned games, you would be able to replace all their games in a date/time window with another official. Simply replace one with the other.

Mileage Visibility
When i want to check to see if mileage has been added to an officials game fee i have to click on game then look then go back to master schedule find next ref and do the same. Should be way to see both refs at once and my looking at master schedule that mileage has been added.. change the color of the $ sign or something

freezes the days of the week on the availability page
Is there any way for the days of the week on the availability page to stay in one place while the calendar scrolls under it? It would be nice to look at the last week of the calendar and have the days of the week still visible on the page. This way if you have the week start on Monday instead of Sunday, umpires will not set their availability on the wrong day.

Vouchered and/or Paid at the Game
Allow Vouchered and/or Paid at the Game to be selectable by position. Our association pays the on-ice officials (referees and linespersons) and the teams pay the timekeepers.

Limit the "email all" function on a per profile level
Limit or provide toggle on / off for individual users to email all on the messaging feature within Horizon.

add a "Title" column in the Athletic Director Member Directory to differentiate an AD from their secretary
Many of our bigger High Schools have a secretary in the Athletic Directors (AD) office. The secretaries perform most of the day to day administrative duties with the software during the high school season so I would want them to continue to have the same software privileges as the AD. It would be helpful for my softball umpires to see which person is the AD and who is the secretary for communication purposes. A "Title" column next to their name indicating whether they are an AD or a secretary would be helpful.

When using filter for location, have location in order by City, so it would make it easier to see games in close proximity to home.

Allow rescheduling of games in the canceled games screen.
Currently if a game cancels, and you search for it to find it to reschedule it, once you find it, you have to exit and go find that game again in the Master schedule, which is not hard since you now have the date, but again requires you to leave where you are viewing the canceled game. By have a reschedule button right there at the canceled game, you could do this with many less steps

incident reporting
We need to have the developers update the incident report.
Offending party notified and who from offending party was notified are nonsensical questions.
It seems like this report was created by someone who has never umpired before.

Filter Master Schedule by Contact Groups
It would be a benefit to be able to add the contact groups to the master schedule filters. This way I can sort games by certain subsets of our entire group.

Allow a print version for parks w/ multi-field w/ officials listed along w/ times, locations, & dates, etc.
The new version does not (seem to) allow a schedule printout w/ the assigned officials. As an event coordinator paying (cash) to officials, it would be nice to have a printout of all the games w/ the officials assignments &/or the officials pay for the day.

Allow VOIP numbers
The biggest suggestion I have is, in this day of people not having landline phones, is to allow internet calling numbers (like Google Voice) as alternative phone numbers. I run my photography business exclusively on a Google Voice number, and I haven't had a landline phone in 25 years.

Re-use Game Numbers from cancelled games
When cancelled games get rescheduled the system should allow for the same game number to be used. Currently, when I go to reschedule a game, i can't use the same game number yet thats what the league sends me as a game number. Would be cool if the system could automatically put an extension on the cancelled game to show it cancelled and allow the new game to go in as the same game number. That would also allow for easy tracking of which games were reschedules.

Zip Code Auto Fills other address items when adding Location
When entering a Location, you should only have to enter the zip code and it could auto fill the city and state.

Revamp Adding Games
When adding games manually, can it start with "Game Code" then the leagues that are available for that game code will generate. Then you pick a league and the teams will generate from that.
Dealing with multiple leagues and so many different team names, this would limit the scrolling through all the teams.

TBA Feature at the League Level
Having the option to turn TBA on or off at the league level of the system instead of the game level. This could prevent any "misses" by the assignor.
