This forum is where you can submit ideas you may have for future improvements to our software systems. All ideas submitted are received and read thoroughly and repeatedly. We do not provide individual responses or detailed status updates on feature suggestions, but all your ideas are valued and considered. Some ideas take just a few days, some will take years, and some may not happen, but they all start by submitting them here. Any ideas you have are welcome!

  1. Email games for week

    During initial transition to horizon ref we need to be able to generate a report of the games for the week that we can email to anyone we want. For example we have someone on the team for scheduling the refs who isn't computer literate. We want to be able to email him the schedule weekly. Also to everyone during transition

  2. Scores on public schedule

    Is there anyway to have an option for the final scores to show on the public schedule?

  3. Have the system warn you when an official has had a team or been at a site fairly recently.

    For example, have the system alert the assigner that Jim Smith had the Springfield Warriors within the past 14 days (or whatever time frame the assigner chooses - maybe give the options for 7, 14 or 21 days) Same thing for the location (instead of a certain team)

  4. Location block for tba request

    Location block should be in place for TBA request. I belong to a league that has 107 rinks and has geographical issues. 74 emails followed by app notification from Oct 14 to Oct 17

  6. Create Contact Groups based on distance / region

    Allow you to create a contact group of all officials within a certain regional area, maybe by selecting off the map.

    I assign as part of a national association and only want to reach my officials in a small area. Instead of going thru the thousands of people one by one it would be much easier to put up the map or sort by distance to select my officials for my group.

  8. Allow to Sort TBA by Location

    Currently the TBA's are sorted by Time only, which makes seeing sets at the same rink very difficult to see. It would be really useful if TBA's were sorted the same as in the Assignor view (Rink, then Time and Date)

  9. Allows coaches to electronically sign an umpire voucher that they worked the game.

    In a league with a lot of youth umpires, we have instances of no show umpires. We currently have a paper voucher system that the umpires are required to have both Home and Away coaches sign. That is then turned into the League for Payment. I am asking the developers to develop an approval process for the coaches that is used to validate that the umpire showed up on time and worked the game. This will then be tied as a key part of an umpire payment approval process. League personal could then run a report out of Horizon to…

  11. Flag or Highlight Games for review

    Add a "Flag" button to the Master Schedule that will allow an assignor to set flags or reminders to themselves for any game in the schedule regardless of its status.

    For busy schedules it would be very helpful to be able to have a visual cue to check back on a game for any number of reasons.

    We should be able to customize questions based on the position the official is working. For example, Positioning does not apply to a Timekeepers job.

  13. Allow coaches to edit games without requiring assigner approval.

    Create an option that can be turned off for coaches and ADs to edit game details without requiring approval. Our coaches have access to the system many months in advance, and prior to the season it is painful to have to go in and delete games because the information is entered incorrectly so they created a new one or I have to go in an approve all game change requests. Make it an option though so that once the season starts or once I start assigning, I can turn the option off then all game changes require approval.

  15. Add ONE column to bill to personal that list their permission/bill to/organization

    When I export my bill to personnel in excel... I need to see what group/organization they correspond with. This is technically the 'bill to' they correspond with. I am making a master list and I can only find out by clicking their profile one by one. It should spit it out just like their town, number or email in the members directory.

  16. Set game codes/leagues only to specific venues

    Add a feature to either the venues or to the leagues/games codes to identify particular venues that apply to a specific league. For example, we have two leagues, one for softball and one for baseball which play at different venues. We'd be able to manage it in our league software, but here we could catch errors in scheduling and ensure that there aren't any problems with incorrect venues and leagues.

  17. Reporting on Membership

    We rank our officials (1, 2, 3) based on games worked, test score, and years of service. It would be great if we could run reports (like web enabled pivot tables) within HWR, including on custom fields.

  18. Expand Manual Game ID Length to 12 Characters

    Hello,

    The game import is an important feature to bring games in from associations. The Game ID field is limited to 8 characters however some of the games being imported have up to 12 characters due to the association settings.

    Would it be possible to change the field length from 8 to 12? This will greatly assist with game updates as they come in. They can be updated en masse rather than one by one.

  19. enables to set one specific zip code as the center point for flat rate mileage calculation as opposed to each individual umpire's zip code.

    When using a flat rate mileage from a center point it would be easier to calculate the mileage using the center point zip code as opposed to each umpire's home zip code.

  20. Provide Officials with a Payroll Report CSV export option

    The "Exportable Version" option does very little good when trying to put a usable payroll report together that I can use for end-of-year tax reporting. P
    Being able to export my payroll games in a manipulable file format would be highly useful.
    Or add the Fee Column to the Schedule Export to CSV option, as that's the important information.
