This forum is where you can submit ideas you may have for future improvements to our software systems. All ideas submitted are received and read thoroughly and repeatedly. We do not provide individual responses or detailed status updates on feature suggestions, but all your ideas are valued and considered. Some ideas take just a few days, some will take years, and some may not happen, but they all start by submitting them here. Any ideas you have are welcome!

Map with multiple filters and layers, including travel routes
Having a map for ALL (not just one) of a Selected Day’s games with multiple filters (or layers) including: Active Venues/Locations, Assigned On-floor/On-field officials, Assigned supervisors/timers/other, unassigned officials, unavailable officials, each with it’s own coloured/type of icon.
Most importantly, and the reason for this entire suggestion: For Selected Daily Locations with active games, a MAP overlay showing the map travel/ROUTE (coloured lines) for the Assigned officials to each venue would be invaluable (a bunch of unassociated dots on a map are of little value) — as an assignor, this would provide a quick visual to allow for shuffling officials in…

allows for paste of Passwords in the log on.
I suggest you revise your log on requirements to allow for pasting of passwords. You allow for pasting of IDs but not password. With all the logons and Passwords we all have now a days and the push for more extensive passwords for security, it would be much easier for all if we could copy and paste or passwords into the logon screen.

Filter Master Schedule by Contact Groups
It would be a benefit to be able to add the contact groups to the master schedule filters. This way I can sort games by certain subsets of our entire group.

Allow Administrator to fill out Incident Report
I need an Option for the Administrator to complete the Incident Report for the Umpires. My League is made up of kids that do the Umpiring. They report the incidents to me ( Admin ) to submit to the league.

incident reporting
We need to have the developers update the incident report.
Offending party notified and who from offending party was notified are nonsensical questions.
It seems like this report was created by someone who has never umpired before.

Game Reschedule Confirmation
When you reschedule a game sometimes you click update, and you wonder a minute, did I update that? You then click it again. I suggest when you click update, the screen says game updated, or saved and the dated, and time, clearing up any confusion.

Allow rescheduling of games in the canceled games screen.
Currently if a game cancels, and you search for it to find it to reschedule it, once you find it, you have to exit and go find that game again in the Master schedule, which is not hard since you now have the date, but again requires you to leave where you are viewing the canceled game. By have a reschedule button right there at the canceled game, you could do this with many less steps

Export availability to Outlook or Google Calendar
Many of us export our schedules to Outlook or Google Calendar. It would be nice if our blocks in our availability calendar would be exported as well. When we have blocks, they often correspond to work schedules, doctors appointments, etc. It would be a nice check-and-balance so we don't mislead our assignors. Thank you.

Set primary email address on an Association level
Allow users to set a different primary email address per association they are part of. This would allow users to better separate the communication coming from Horizon, especially if they have different roles in different associations. (Example: person is an 'Official' in Association A, but an 'Assignor' in Association B, and needs to present a work email address to Association B, and only a personal email address to Association A).

When using filter for location, have location in order by City, so it would make it easier to see games in close proximity to home.

add a "Title" column in the Athletic Director Member Directory to differentiate an AD from their secretary
Many of our bigger High Schools have a secretary in the Athletic Directors (AD) office. The secretaries perform most of the day to day administrative duties with the software during the high school season so I would want them to continue to have the same software privileges as the AD. It would be helpful for my softball umpires to see which person is the AD and who is the secretary for communication purposes. A "Title" column next to their name indicating whether they are an AD or a secretary would be helpful.

Allow auto acceptance of individual official(s) by setting switch/check box but not to all officials/system setting.
If officials decline 3/5 games when available their account/official level become auto accept for any game assigned when they are available. This setting could be administrator setting directed towards the each official.3 votes -
Limit the "email all" function on a per profile level
Limit or provide toggle on / off for individual users to email all on the messaging feature within Horizon.

Adds games to Availability Overview graph when unavailable
Currently, there is no mechanism to allow assignors to view games on an official's Availability Overview when an official is unavailable. On the Master Schedule, the game appears, but not on the Overview graph.

In the TBA filter, please add an option to filter games by distance to officials home.

default game length
Default game length. I know there is a default game length, but that is assuming all games are the same length. It would be nice if you could set a default game length for each age group if it were available.

Vouchered and/or Paid at the Game
Allow Vouchered and/or Paid at the Game to be selectable by position. Our association pays the on-ice officials (referees and linespersons) and the teams pay the timekeepers.

availability detail "question marks" should be color coded based on availability
On the assigning window instead of having only one blue colored question mark to see the officials availability, color code them based on availability. Green = All day, Yellow = availability limitations. Possibly room for a color if available before 12 noon and another color for after 12 noon. It makes it easier for an assignor to utilize officials for specific availability rather than having to hover over each small question mark.
