This forum is where you can submit ideas you may have for future improvements to our software systems. All ideas submitted are received and read thoroughly and repeatedly. We do not provide individual responses or detailed status updates on feature suggestions, but all your ideas are valued and considered. Integrate with Goalline.ca
Our leagues use Goalline.ca. Is it possible to set up an integration with that website?
1 voteAt this time, Goalline.ca does not offer an API service that would allow us to connect to their systems. If they develop such a service, we’ll be happy to revisit this in the future, but without such a service on their end, we’re not able to connect with their systems externally. game pay
a list of the payment for each officials position taken (in sports where their are different officials or levels of officials with different responsibilities to over see during a game), for each League/Team Organization/Venue and skill level/age level of the teams involved.

allows parents of kids under 13 to obtain a horizon account for their child
Currently Horizon doesn't allow a person under 13 to have their own account. I understand there may be laws that require this. However, there is a need to have a Parent/Guardian account for their child. I have a lot of kids that are 12 (legal in the state I live) that can and do work games as both referees and timekeeper. I need a way to get them into the system with out "lying" about their age during registration process on the site. I also need an accurate age on them so I can assure I do not assign them…

Allow Officials to select specific rinks they would like to work
From the list of rinks already stored in Horizon allow the official, in their profile, to select their preferred rinks.

Print Travel Information
Like on the schedule page, it would be nice to be able to print the travel information so it can be emailed out as a PDF.

Coach portal for ref assignments
What I proposed is that you have a public portal where coaches or anyone could see if refs have been assigned to their game.
This alone would prevent very costly scenarios where game date/time/location does match up with our game scheduling software. It would give our coaches an opportunity to confirm that what our websites show matches with what ref assignor has manually entered or imported into your system.
Information required would simply be association, level, date/time, arena/pad, game number. That's it. We don't need to know who the refs are, just that our game information is exactly the same…

Edit availability for remainder of day with assignments already scheduled
I understand once I have an assignment, I can not edit my availability for that specific time window. But I should still be able to edit my availability for the remainder of the day that I am not assigned to. Would appreciate some insight on this if there is a reason for this or if I am missing something.

Doesn't allow duplicate games and game times for same rink etc.
system should not allow duplicate games to be created on same time and same ice surface/rink
1 voteUnfortunately, this is something we’ve decided not to incorporate. The system already displays warnings about this situation to schedulers, but there are circumstances where some schedulers may want to intentionally create a duplicate game. We’re not in favor of completely blocking this action. Instead, we’ll focus on providing warnings & alerts and allow schedulers to decide how to proceed. Thank you for submitting an idea.

Decline/Turnback Data
Horizon allows assignor's to charge a fee for each game declined or turned back. It maintains a count of how many games each official declines/turns back, but does it also maintain a specific record detailing each game/date? At the end of the season when we send invoices out to officials, the assignor only seems to be able to retrieve a report where these fees as listed under "adjustments." This immediately leads to officials sending emails like: "I didn't decline any game!" or "What games did I decline?" Can this information be readily pulled from Horizon?

Allows an Option for Umpire Pay Rates to be driven by level
In Softball different skill levels of umpire can be paid differently - Not based on Game code or league but based on the umpires qualification.
So it would be good if you could set the pay rate for an Umpire based on their accreditation level, that could then be over ridden by a league.
this would safe significant work adjusting game rates
This would likely require the inclusion of a
*League payment override umpires Accreditation Payment
and

Association/Coaches Profiles
Is it possible to create just a link for coaches/association personal with no login required that just shows their game times/dates/location so they can confirm their game is scheduled to have referees
This way it can be just 1 generic link for each association
Or omit the phone # requirement when setting up a profile for these people would be a good alternative
3 votesWe’ve decided not to incorporate this idea. Allowing coaches to view schedules without login is already an option via the Integrate My Website options & the Public Game Schedule. We’re not currently in favor of reducing our system security and phone number requirements at this time. Thank you for submitting an idea.

Allows you to put in notes even if you are not available for the full day.
It would be nice to be able to include a note even if not available the whole day.

Color code officials name by group in Availability chart
In overview availability chart color code names by Group of officials. For example, have Referee names in one color, and Timekeepers names in a different color.

MY SCHEDULE
I love that I can sync / calendar match my schedules... meaning I can make one change in one of my 3 calendars and all the calendars are synced with that new availability.
Any chance our individual MY SCHEDULE can also reflect that? Meaning, regardless of which groups I am signed in with I can see all of the games I am assigned without having to leave one group to go to another?

Any secondary email address needs to be allowed
If i'm also an official I can't be copied on notifications for my son because my email is in a different account does not make sense. please correct this. thanks

Members Directory Privacy
I deal with many Clients and give them "Association Personnel" rights. I would appreciate the option to not share my Officials personal contact information with them.
Those Clients have no right to have access to their information and could be legal issues of a third party contact without their consent.
I request this is looked at with serious thought!
3 votesThis functionality already exists. Association Personnel cannot access the list of Officials. Only users in the Officials group may access this list.

Mass Delete Positions - NEEDS WORK!
Someone has requested this and Engineer team stated there is an option, which there is not.
When in "Mass Edit Positions", there is no option to select all, multiple, or individual boxes in order to remove more than one position.
If there is a way, please share as I have tried all possible ways and can't find how to click more than one position in order to delete...only single positions at a time.
