Feature Suggestions
This forum is where you can submit ideas you may have for future improvements to our software systems. All ideas submitted are received and read thoroughly and repeatedly. We do not provide individual responses or detailed status updates on feature suggestions, but all your ideas are valued and considered. Some ideas take just a few days, some will take years, and some may not happen, but they all start by submitting them here. Any ideas you have are welcome!

Adds the mass edit option for contacts other than officials (ex. Coaches, Athletic Directors, etc.)
Coaches and ADs can change every year. This needs to be a mass edit option. I am currently setting up a new system and will have to go in and add each one of these individually for 60+ schools. This system was supposed to make things easier, but I am not impressed with all the mass edit options not available so far.

Make linking games easier with less clicks and searching.
It's too many clicks to find the link games feature. These quick features are missing from the top bar and would be great to return as just a static bar at the top of the screen. This could be a permanent feature or a button that pops up when multiple games are selected. Adding in the drop down menu now means multiple clicks and wasted time.

We'll be primarily using the New Horizon feedback for early adopters who are using that new system.

allows for paste of Passwords in the log on.
I suggest you revise your log on requirements to allow for pasting of passwords. You allow for pasting of IDs but not password. With all the logons and Passwords we all have now a days and the push for more extensive passwords for security, it would be much easier for all if we could copy and paste or passwords into the logon screen.

Updates a TBA submission status from "OPEN" for a cancelled game
When a TBA has been submitted and is waiting for approval on an open game, if the game is cancelled the official still seed the TBA submission as OPEN, even though the game has a status of cancelled in the public folder. The TBA submission should not appear as OPEN for a cancelled game.

Add date/time assignment created to game schedule & detailed payroll report exports
Add the 'assignment created' date/time field to the game schedule & detailed payroll report exports (csv). The reports currently include the 'assignor' field which displays the assignor who created the assignment but not the date/time of same.

Association Policy Acceptance Report
Add the ability to generate a report that shows who has accepted the association policy and when and where, when the association policy acceptance feature is enabled.

Simulate user on mobile app
Computer access is not always available, especially for last minute changes to do the simulation sequence. Additionally some do not use the app and do not have time to go home from work to accept the assignment and get to the event on time.

allow system administrators and assignors to be able to see availability overview and all officials calendars on mobile app
The phone app is limited for assignors and system administrators. The ability to have an availability overview of all officials and to see each officials individual calendar would be very useful.

Add a comments column to the TBA email notification to officials.
Add a comments column for each game which would be visible when sending TBA's out. This would allow assigners to note game/roll specific details. For when more then one official is needed and a specific roll is already filled. Or whatever details. like "need youth official", need patched official. etc. Hopefully will prevent replies from those who cannot fill the specific need.

game notes in mobile app
Can Game Notes icon be added to the mobile app?

Ability to search for referees by first or last name
Many times we now other referees only by their first name. Currently, if we need to contact someone who's last name we do not know, we have to manually look through every name.

assignor summary report- be able to create a invoice with the assignor name and address
be able to produce a invoice with the assignor's name, address and what he is owed so it can be sent to a organization. it would just look more professional like the referee payroll report

Don't allow officials to respond to TBA requests when they are scheduled in a game at the same time
The TBA system currently allows officials to respond to TBAs even when they are scheduled in another game at the same time. They don't come up on the assigning screen, but it is misleading to the official requesting the assignment.

Add Google Fi As a Supported SMS Email Gateway Provider (Simple Add to Dropdown)
Simply add Google Fi as a cell phone provider for SMS notifications via the SMS Email Gateway. Their email domain is msg.fi.google.com and more information can be found here: https://support.google.com/fi/answer/6356597?hl=en
This should take about 5min to setup.

Provide Officials with a Payroll Report CSV export option
The "Exportable Version" option does very little good when trying to put a usable payroll report together that I can use for end-of-year tax reporting. P
Being able to export my payroll games in a manipulable file format would be highly useful.

contact crew by SMS
currently I can contact the game crew by email, but I would like the option to do this by SMS. Most communication between officials is by text - especially if it is close to game time. Young referees don't check their email regularly - I need to contact them by text.
65 votesGroup Text options are now available in both our Android & iOS mobile apps for game crews on the game details page of the software.
Note that due to iOS limitations, group text options cannot direclt open the Messages app on iOS devices, so selecting the Group Text button in Horizon will copy the SMS group to your clipboard. You'll need to paste the group into Messages to begin a group text.

Message Contact Groups via Mobile
Please add the ability to use the message system on the Mobile APP with custom created "Contact Groups". At the moment, it goes out to all officials within our directory, and I want the ability to select a specific group of officials.

Bulk Cancel Games on mobile devices
When an entire nights games are rained out, I have to be near a computer to cancel them. I want to be able to cancel them the same way you publish them. otherwise I need to do each game individually.

Keep the navigation menu visible while scrolling
Freeze the shortcuts on the right side of the screen. So, that when you scroll down thru lists on the left you don't have to scroll back up to get to those shortcuts.
