This forum is where you can submit ideas you may have for future improvements to our software systems. All ideas submitted are received and read thoroughly and repeatedly. We do not provide individual responses or detailed status updates on feature suggestions, but all your ideas are valued and considered. Some ideas take just a few days, some will take years, and some may not happen, but they all start by submitting them here. Any ideas you have are welcome!

Turnback requests applied to all linked games
Can you make the turnback request applicable to all linked games, so official doesn't have to do multiple turnbacks. It would be one request per linked games

Filter TBA Requests by # of Officials per game
When officials are searching TBA Requests, allow them the ability to filter games by # of Officials. There are officials who only want to work games depending on how many officials are assigned to a game. Games codes often do not depict how many officials are on each game.

Start location by day, or date
Start location by day, or date. Allow Official to declare starting zip code for each day Mon-Sun which allows for a situation where Official has different start zip on work days. Should be over-writeable (in Availailability) for specific days when you know you'll only be available from (yet another) zip.

Add a VSP to System Setting 52 to prevent unqualified officials from seeing and requesting games they are not qualified for.
System setting 52, as is, allows an official to give an assignment to an unqualified official, even with the warning. This results me and assignors getting an "TBA Unqualified Warning!", which then means we now have to react and fix the problem, i.e., reassign the game to a qualified official. That, of course, completely defeats the benefits of allowing officials to swap assignments among themselves.
The ultimate goal of the TBA System is to ensure the game is covered and has assignments filled however, with system setting 52, officials are trying to swap games that are already covered and assignment…

Receive TBA emails only for qualified games
Can you please make it so that it will only show games that we are rated for in "TBA Requests".

blocks off availability to all division ( not just the team) when the referee is playing their game
Have a way in the BLOCK system to make the official unavailable for all games when their team is playing. It is too hard to mark their availability when the game times may change and then they forget to change it.... I deal with a lot of minor refs and it is hard enough to get them to just mark their availability.

TBA Requests Readability
The TBA requests page is largely just text, and sometimes it can be a little disorienting when trying to figure out where days start and stop. Some sort of alternating color separation for days (or boundaries between days) would be very helpful.

Availability to include venue on day to day basis
Each week we want officials to be able to choose their availability by time and by venue. This would require a drop down menu on the availability day to choose which venue they can work at.
We operate out of 15 different stadiums for junior basketball, and most officials referee games depending on which venue they are refereeing at.

you should be able to bring up past messages from organizer/ Payee to verified past correspondence.

Allow Setting Availability via Multiple feature to be Set for Every OTHER week
I like at least a few others have my kids every other weekend come stay with me. It's be nice if I could set my availability up using the multiple feature where I could "check off" every other week, or "every two weeks. That way the weekends I dont have my kids I can request those days to be available (instead of having to click on each day)...they have it on Gameofficials.net (I requested it there too and they did it...and it gives the ability to set it 52 weeks ahead....)

Enable officials to request a hotel room for upcoming game assignments in addition to assigners inputting and saving them.

Updates a TBA submission status from "OPEN" for a cancelled game
When a TBA has been submitted and is waiting for approval on an open game, if the game is cancelled the official still seed the TBA submission as OPEN, even though the game has a status of cancelled in the public folder. The TBA submission should not appear as OPEN for a cancelled game.

Only require 1 rating per linked game set
If there are linked assignments, only have one rating fellow official requirement. For example, not have to rate fellow official 3 times for each of the 3 linked games

On your Incident reports. Please put a drop down that gives a choice between 'CAUTION" (or yellow) and "disqualification" (or red) card.

Provide Visible Indication of Inconsistent Availability
As a member of multiple associations, sometimes I forget to check the (very small) "Apply to all associations" checkbox and my availability gets out of sync, resulting in cranky assignors.
It would be helpful if there were some visual indication in the availability calendar that the displayed values don't apply to all associations so it's possible to know to check other associations. Maybe a icon in the corner.
