This forum is where you can submit ideas you may have for future improvements to our software systems. All ideas submitted are received and read thoroughly and repeatedly. We do not provide individual responses or detailed status updates on feature suggestions, but all your ideas are valued and considered. Some ideas take just a few days, some will take years, and some may not happen, but they all start by submitting them here. Any ideas you have are welcome!

Create an individual assignment history link
Create a function that allows an assignor to click on the name of an available official (that he/she does not know) and quickly see a history of assignment levels worked by the individual, even if assigned by others. This would help to identify if an individual has prior experience in similar/comparable game levels and eliminate the need for an assignor to leave their scheduling screen and view a public schedule of the individual's history and streamline the scheduling process a bit.

Observer Evaluations by Selection
Often times we have officials on site prior or post to games in progress. A nice feature would be to select individual officials to have "observer" status or evaluation capability on selected games. Rather than having to issue an official a general observer status site wide.
in this way, if we have experienced officials on site prior to any assignments they may have. Can take the time to submit evaluation(s) of ongoing games.
A tag/icon potentially in the game details where we can pull down from the officials list a name and it will open up the evaluation option to…
1 voteWhat you’re describing already exists via the Fellow Officials Ratings system. Instead of using the Observer Ratings system which is open for observers to evaluate any game, you would use the Fellow Officials Ratings system to “assign” the observer to a specific game and then require them to submit an evaluation for only the games they are assigned to. Change Calendar Event Titles
Not sure if this is set by the system, or the local association, but having every single Event Title show "Game Assignment: [Insert officiating association name]" is very unhelpful. Especially for mobile views, being able to have the Ice Rink that the game is be the first part of the title is a huge help for me. I know which association I'm part of, so that info could go into the Event Details instead of the title.

You can customize your event title that is populated to Google Calendar from within your Personal Profile using the Settings button next to the Google Integration option. To accomplish what you want, you would enter Officiate at {location} into the title section and the system will enter the exact title you’re looking for and will dynamically replace {location} with the location name of your assignment. Have the ability to bill a league for a canceled game without paying the officials
This idea may have already been suggested but I have not been able to find it. What I would like to be able to do is charge a league for a canceled game but not have to pay the officials for the game. This feature could also be used to charge a league a late game add fee without having to go manually update the billing information for one of the officials. I would like to see this added to the "Game Detail" window similar to where the "Notes" are. The feature could resemble the "Pay Adjustment" feature for the…

It's foolish to get requests for an official when you live 400 miles away!
1 voteThis feature already exists and is controlled by your scheduler. If your scheduler is sending you too many requests, you should talk with them about using geolocations for determining who to send the request to. Thank you for submitting an idea.

Be able to select Refs by Choice Location
I don't like the "Leave City" because they're are quite a few around here, and therefore it's hard to get a balance of officials because you're constantly scrolling to different cities. Should be a column of choice of where to officiate and then if I am doing on particular rink, should be able to select on all officials who have that rink listed
1 voteThis feature generally exists already. Your officials should be using the Location Block System to specify their preferences on which locations they wish to work. The system will then automatically filter the list for you based on their selections. Thank you for submitting an idea.

We should have a calendar view of everyone available (so when we schedule per month we can make it even as possible)
have a calendar view that list all available officials wanting to work a particular rink during that month so it can be assigned based on fairness per month

Blocks partners and programs

1 voteThis feature already exists. You can use the “Partner Block System” from the Administrative Forms, if your organization allows it. If you don’t see the option, then your organization does not allow you to block partners and you would need to contact them for further details. Thank you.

Temporary Official Name
Be able to type in a officials name assigned to a game while I am waiting on them to activate their account. This would help show schools and partners temporarily who their partner is in last minute situations.

Using Game #'s instead of Reference #s
When email reminders are sent out or really any email pertaining to a game, a reference # is attached to that email..it even says sometimes "your game#". It would be more helpful to list the actual game #/ID# that has been assigned to that game from the assignor than these arbiterary #s. At least put the game # in the email please!!
1 voteThis feature already exists. You can use reference numbers, manual game numbers, or have the system generate an id number. In any of those cases, the number specified is used as the ID number when referenced in the system. If you’ve enabled both manual IDs and reference numbers, the reference number will take precedence. privacy function
If group A assigns me a game, the information is visible to group B. I should have the option of keeping the information private.
1 voteYour game schedules are not directly visible to outside organizations. Outside organizations are notified of a potential game conflict if they try to schedule you during a time that has a potential conflict with one of your existing assignments, but they cannot freely browse your schedule.

allows coaches/ad's the ability to enter game scores rather than officials only.
Allow the system administrator to toggle on or off the option to allow the coach/ad of the HOME team to enter game scores rather than the officials only.

Multiple Dwolla accounts
Why can't I have more than one bank account in Dwolla and select the one I want funds transferred into?
1 voteDwolla is a third-party provider so we cannot accept feature requests for their service.
To answer your question, though… A Dwolla Direct account allows for only one bank account, because the funds (once received) are immediately transferred to that bank account. There is no middle stage where the funds sit around in an account waiting for you to withdraw them. Only one bank account is allowed, because there is no time or opportunity to allow you to change bank accounts on a case-by-case basis. If you want to change bank accounts, you would need to delete your existing account and add a new bank account.

Allow synchronizing to google calandars you don't own but have write access to
The current sync is a great feature however not ideal in my case:
We are a family of four with two referees. The other two members do other 'stuff' on the weekends, We share our weekend activities with each other on a common 'family calendar' we all have write access to. This make it much easier for all of us to organisation our cars, family time...

Sorting by City includes province/state, separate them please
When I use the sorting feature by city, the province/state is the first displayed (ie: ON - Capreol or ON - Sudbury). Since all my games are in ON, it would be easier to separate the province/state out of that column.
1 voteUnfortunately, this is something we’ve decided not to incorporate. The city sorting option sorts first by state/province, then by city name which is hugely beneficial for organizations that have officials in more than 1 state/province. Without this option, there would be no way to separate officials in different states. For organizations with officials all in the same state, this doesn’t provide any detriment, it is simply just additional information. We realize it may be unnecessary for your organization, but it is crucial for many. Thank you for submitting an idea.

Allow customization of home page message to coaches/AD's
The generic welcome message on the home page for coaches and AD's is misleading (at least the way we are using the system), and for the most part unnecessary. Would like the ability to customize this message, same as I currently have for referee home page.
1 voteWe’ve decided not to incorporate message customizing at this time, however, we have altered the message that coaches see to be more dynamic. The message they see now describes exactly the permissions that are available to them, based on what you’ve enabled in your settings. This now allows them to see exactly what they can or cannot do on the system. Thank you for submitting an idea.
