This forum is where you can submit ideas you may have for future improvements to our software systems. All ideas submitted are received and read thoroughly and repeatedly. We do not provide individual responses or detailed status updates on feature suggestions, but all your ideas are valued and considered. Some ideas take just a few days, some will take years, and some may not happen, but they all start by submitting them here. Any ideas you have are welcome!

Link unaccepted games to the notification on the home page for assignors to go directly to the game
Put a link in to unaccepted games so the assignor can click it and go directly to the game. Rather than having to search the persons schedule to find the unaccepted game.

Disable accounts without deleting them
Because officials registration expire 11.30 each year is it possible to disable their account temporarily until they complete their certification process? Rather than deleting them until they get completed?

searching for games
While using the "Jump to game number" box it would be great to be able to use a wild card in the search string.

Automatically Block the entire day when on official declines an assignment
Currently, if an official declines an assignment, the system blocks them for that specific assignment, but they still show to be available for other games on that day. It would be helpful if they were blocked from all games for that date.
1 voteWe’re not in favor of automatically blocking availability, however, we have incorporated a new feature today which will prompt officials immediately to close their availability for a day when they decline an assignment. To use the new feature, you’ll need to ensure the Availability Locking system (Feature #3) is set to either “Only if unaccepted” or “Never” in order to permit officials to immediately change their calendar when they decline an assignment. Allow users to add a profile photo via the mobile app.
Currently users can only add a photo using the internet version of the program. Our association has asked officials to provide a profile photo so assignors can identify young officials from adults, we often recognize faces better than names, etc. due to the fact we have many new officials this year. They cannot do this with the mobile app, which most of our young officials use predominantly.

Add the "$" ICON to the Mobile App
Add the $ ICON to the Mobile App. Some umpires do not have a laptop or desktop they only use their cell phones or tablets. When they receive payment there only alternative it to find a PC or laptop, usually at a library, to login and indicate PAID.

Allows you to highlight multiple umpires on payroll sheet to perform electronic payment. Currently it is all or one or multiple (manually)
Once the payroll sheet is pulled up, the assignor should be able to check or highlight people to pay electronically so the entire list is not automatically pulled over. Pulling the entire list could still be an option if you select all. Should be set up same way as we select those to receive email.

Document upload notification email change
The current email notification directs you to the documents section. However, if you have multiple directories, the email will not specify the full path. If I upload a document to "Officiating Information" I would like that contained in the hyperlink path. If I upload a document to "Hockey Canada Information", then that would be in the hyperlink path.

"Next Month" option for Schedule search
On the Search Bar on the Schedule, there are options for Current Month and Last Month. An option for "Next Month" would be helpful allowing single keystroke to select next months accepted games. Currently the option is FUTURE and when you are in the early/middle of the month, that shows the rest of CURRENT month also. It would help when planning the upcoming month without the need to open the availability calendar. Thanks for your consideration.

Time restriction for game cancellations by coaches, AD's or League Personnel.
When activating the game cancellation feature for coaches, AD's and League Personnel. Request a time feature schedulers and administrators can set in which they may submit a cancellation directly via the system. This will avoid those last minute cancellations in which officials may be en-route or have already arrived for their assignment. Such a restriction will force the team to contact the officials and scheduler directly to cancel say a game one hour before scheduled start rather than simply submitting a cancellation where the assigned officials or scheduler would receive the notice in time. A way to use "team blocking" for officials without allowing THEM to use the blocking feature.
This is very important when needing to block officials from calling "siblings" or relatives games, but don't want them to be able to also be picky and block teams where they don't like coaches, players, etc.

iCalendar integration
When a game is accepted, allow the game to automatically be downloaded to the officials online calendar like Google ot Yahoo.

We are looking into options to integrate the Yahoo Calendar, however, their integration tools for their latest calendar version are barely existent. We will continue to explore Yahoo integration options, however, we may need to wait until Yahoo releases more integration options before we can utilize their calendar as well.

Do not require a score to be entered when modifying past games.

This would make my job, and yours, so much easier.
Use cases I would build today:
A schedule connector for sportngin so when league schedule changed it would sync with Horizon.
Attach game sheets automatically to gsme after they're uploaded.
Connect financial information directly into Xero
Link invoices to Fresh books.
Etc, etc.

Have an option on Master Schedule to show any combination of Turnbacks, Declines, Open games
I'm surprised this hasn't been introduced already, seems very logical.
All assignors need to see a complete snapshot of games that require their attention.
Over the next two weeks I have over 30 turnbacks, I have no easy way of just showing those games...
I'd love to be able to have the Master Schedule show me all games that require my attention by also selecting turnbacks, declines and open games.

0 votesWe have updated the Acceptance State filter to allow multiple selections. You may now select any combination of Accepted, Declined, Unaccepted or Turnbacks using the Acceptance State filter. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to incorporate the Open Games item into this request as that is controlled with a separate filter at this time, but a filter does already exist for displaying only open games. Thank you for the idea.

Mass Edit of Games
It woudl be nice to mass edit game schedules. When having a whole night to reschedule, it would be nice to be able to update all dates and not just have to do 1 game at a time without having to export and re-import. When dealing with 80 games a night it is a pain.

Keep my group filter selection when I choose "unavailable officials"
when assigning I select my group filter, then often need to check unavailable officials, this the forgets my group filter and I have to wait for all officials to reload again.
