  1. iPad/Android App

An app that allows mobile devices to access horizonwebref. Doesn't necessarily need the entire interface but an app that gives access to schedule, members roster and school addresses would be helpful.

My Game Details Pop-Up has a very small width set, and I must scroll left and right constantly to read the information. It would be nice to have it as wide as this feedback request pop-up...

  5. return the update button on the availability page

I am quite surprised, and disappointed, with this change. Clicking an update button at the end of entering changes, especially on a page where lots of information could be accidentally changed with an inadvertent mouse click, is just standard web interface protocol.

Without the update button, the only way to ensure the change has gone through is to regenerate that page. For example, your provider has a momentary glitch, and one of your updates is not applied, but how would you know? The previous way, where the changed dates would flash in succession, was absolutely perfect. I hope we return…

We have decided not to incorporate this idea, however,we have added additional notifications to the calendar page so that you can be more aware that your change has successfully been recorded. A System Update has been posted with additional details. Thank you.

Unfortunately, we have decided no to incorporate this idea. We have considered this in lengthy discussions, however, we would prefer that users obtain their assignment information by visiting the system – this way, if the user has been neglecting some other event that requires their attention, we can either remind them and/or force them to complete the event before they are given the information they desire. Also, we want to make sure users are immediately accepting/declining assignments. If we provide all the information in the initial email, some users may not accept/decline the assignment in a timeline fashion. Thank you for the idea, though.

  9. add Gmail calendar feed/integration

games assigned should be able to show up on your gmail account automatically. user would have to enter encrypted field with gmail account and password.

  10. Show the website is secure

There is some sensitive data for users of this site. How do we know it is secure? Is it secure because the web admin says so? Not acceptable. This site should hire a security consultant to evaluate their security level and use a program that monitors the site for security intrusions. I wouldn't mind seeing a logo from a trusted security provider stating that this website is secure. I would look into what verisign has to offer.

Matt- Our system is constantly monitored and verified for security. The bottom right hand corner of every single page shows our security verifications, which is provided by Starfield Security Technologies. You can view this at any time to be shown our current security level, which is set at 256 bit encryption technology, which is the highest layer of security available today. Security is our number one priority above all else. Thank you for the concern, however, we do spend quite a bit of time and resources dedicated to securing our systems.

  11. Officials Ability System

Rather then using a numberic ability system, allow assignors to use a check box system to show what level each official is capable of working. This can be set up in the member director page.

I believe this feature already exists. If I understand your request correctly, you want to specify whether or not an official is eligible for a specific level. This can be accomplished using the Game Code block system. Likewise, you could also use the Position block system. This is essentially the exact same system you are proposing.

  12. Allow an official or assignor choose "minimum" game level for an official.

This would prevent very senior officials from showing up when scheduling mite or squirt games for example.

  14. Allow officials to confirm a game by clicking on a link within the email

To allow officials to respond quicker and confirm a game by simple click of a link within an email stating "Accept" or "Reject" and eliminate the requirement to actual go log into the website and navigate. Would make it more usable/efficient to confirm games via smartphones.

Unfortunately, we have decided not to incorporate this idea. We would prefer that users accept/decline by logging into the system fully. This way, if there is something that a user has been neglecting, we can remind and/or force them to complete the item. We have, however, made it easier and more mobile-friendly to accept/decline assignments. Thank you for the idea.

  15. Decrease homepage reminders width to allow more room for messages from the Administrator

The reminders box should just scroll and allow more room for messages on the main page without it having to scroll. Might be a nice "option" for Admin to select to have forum on main page or a menu option appear for Forum to be it's own page.

  17. Need for a MASTER "private" switch to turn off all officials and phones so they can't enable them.

The Assignor may not want ANY officials to have the individual ability to ENABLE their email or phone to be visible when updating their profile. Such that it greys out their option while showing the "block" box next to the private box checked (another feature request)

We’ve decided against incorporating a “Master Switch” for privacy settings and instead opted to allow officials to control their own privacy as they desire. Today, we’ve added the ability for officials to mark their addresses as private which is in addition to the existing options we already have for marking phone numbers and email addresses private as well.

  19. Highlight games already passed in a different color so it's easier to see what games are next

When seeing your game schedule, it shows all of your games for the month. Highlighting the games that you have already done will help see which game is next.

As the previous commenter has pointed out, this feature does already exist in that you can specify a “default schedule filter” setting in your personal profile so you don’t need to constantly change the schedule filters. Additionally, we’ve recently added a couple of quick buttons to help make jumping to common dates easier. Thank you for the idea.
