Feature Suggestions
This forum is where you can submit ideas you may have for future improvements to our software systems. All ideas submitted are received and read thoroughly and repeatedly. We do not provide individual responses or detailed status updates on feature suggestions, but all your ideas are valued and considered. Some ideas take just a few days, some will take years, and some may not happen, but they all start by submitting them here. Any ideas you have are welcome!

Individual Invoicing
I can see where to make an invoice that I would send to an organization for all of the games we assigned for them, but that is not how we send invoices in.
i make an invoice for each referee and send those into the organizations. The organizations pay the referees directly via checks that they generate off the invoices I send them.
Can you help me figure out how to generate these individual referee invoices so that I can make them up every week and save them as PDF files. I then email those invoices to each origination and…

when a game is decline, that official is unavailable for any other assignments during that time slot
19 votesWe’re not in favor of automatically blocking availability, however, we have incorporated a new feature which will prompt officials immediately to close their availability for a day when they decline an assignment. To use the new feature, you’ll need to ensure the Availability Locking system (Feature #3) is set to either “Only if unaccepted” or “Never” in order to permit officials to immediately change their calendar when they decline an assignment. The actual decision to make the change will still be in the hands of the official. Thanks for submitting an idea.

Include game ID into the google calendar funtion
I love the google calendar fuction, but I would like the game ID to flow thru to my calendar. My league has game numbers that are refered to often. Would be nice to have that info in the calendar somewhere

Create a link to yahoo calendar not just Google
Create a link to yahoo calendar not just Google
1 voteThis option is now available using the iCal synchronize URL link. The link, provided at the top of your Game Schedule page (using the non-mobile version of the system) will allow you to copy the link to any outside calendar program that supports the iCal file format to automatically synchronize your calendar of assignments. connect all associations
If an official is assigned a game, it should show up on the availability calendar automatically in all associations an official belongs to. This would allow officials to keep track of their games more efficiently rather than having to manually set blocks once a game has been accepted.

1 voteThis feature already exists. There is no need for you to “block” a day in your availability calendar when you get an assignment in another organization. The system automatically informs your scheduler that you have an assignment with another organization. As far as managing your schedule, you can view your entire schedule across multiple organizations on the Game Schedule page which will list ALL organizations using the schedule filters. Thanks for the ideas, but all these features already exist.

Integrates Calendar to add assignments to Google Apps accounts
Works great with "Gmail" accounts but will not integrate with google apps accounts - even after adding the required XXX@group.calendar.google.com in google calendar ID
3 votesThis feature already exists. We have confirmed that it is functioning properly with Google Apps accounts. The google calendar ID is required to authenticate, but it is functioning as expected. Thank you.

Mass Text Message Capability
Would like the ability to send a mass text message like the email feature. Can we have the option when sending a message to include their text message address?

Permit group emails to be sent blind, preventing others from using the email list for other purposes
We have had problems with our email lists being used or pirated for other purposes. Can you create an option that restricts seeing email distributions
1 voteWe have altered the sending of messages so that the full list of email addresses are not shown when sending group emails. Now, just the names of the users are shown. Thank you.

The system captures games scores, it would helpful if this info could be exported to excel
Our league not only uses the system for assigning, but we uses it extensively to track game scores and game information. Being able to export the game score information into excel as well as the coach or official game report information would be of great value.

Same last name and first initial.
Lists the second initial of the first name when last names and first initials are the same.
1 voteThe system is unable to detect other elements on a page, i.e. if there is already another name on the page with the same first and last names/initials. However, we have just added additional functionality so that if your mouse if placed over the top of the name in question, the full name will be quickly displayed in order for you to quickly learn the full name of the official in these situations. Hopefully that should help sort out any confusion.

Emailing through selections list
There needs to be something that allows you to click one button and send an email to all the officials working in a selections list. Like if you wanted to email all thirty people working a showcase for one particular weekend you could go in and find those games in a selections list and click a button and send them an email. Availability change (official) should be effective immediately; remove "Update Availability" button.
When an official changes the availability on a day, the change should just be applied in real-time without having to click the "Update Availability" button. Too many problems currently exist today where officials forget to click the button and the change does not get applied. If the change is immediate and the official made a mistake, the official can just change the availability again.

Limit which user types can view the public schedule.
Is it possible to add an administrative option which allows administrators to limit which users can view the public schedule? The current option only allows the option of letting everyone see the schedule or no one. What I would like to do is be able to allow officials to see the public schedule, but I do NOT want the coaches to be able to see the public schedule.
12 votesThis feature has been completed. You may now limit the public schedule to be viewable only by certain user types. The feature is adjustable by editing feature #19 in your System Settings. A System Update will follow with additional details. Thank you for the idea.

Game Alerts
If an official has been removed from an assignment for whatever reason and a new official assigned, an email notification should be sent to the remaining officials on the crew. For example, "something has changed with your upcoming assignment."
Also, you should be able to choose which notifications you would like to receive in each provided communication. Ie: check each box for each of the following: Game Reminder, New Game, New Event, Game Change, Unassigned, Event Reminder.
Have a table set up for which notifications you would like to have sent to your email(s) and/or cell phone(s).

Letting coaches have access to the document section
We post a lot of good information such as rules clarifications and helpful documents to these sections that both coaches and directors would benefit from. Perhaps making it an optional feature for each group would work best.

Download Game Notes
The ability to download game notes to excel. Adding that field to the master game schedule download to excel report would be good.

iPhone App
granted it's simple to use on a device right now, it would be even easier if it was app style so we could get push notifications and be able to quickly access our info on horizon without having to go on the internet and log in

Master Schedule Link to Today's Games
Create a button or link on the master schedule to easily take the assignor back to today's date/games after performing other searches.
1 voteA similar feature has been completed, which was already under development. The feature adds a reset button to the schedule filter which will allow you to quickly jump back to your original schedule filter setting. Generally, this should allow you to jump back to today’s date if that is your default schedule filter.
