This forum is where you can submit ideas you may have for future improvements to our software systems. All ideas submitted are received and read thoroughly and repeatedly. We do not provide individual responses or detailed status updates on feature suggestions, but all your ideas are valued and considered. Some ideas take just a few days, some will take years, and some may not happen, but they all start by submitting them here. Any ideas you have are welcome!

Game decline will block availability on that date
Add an option to Feature and Settings.... that if selected, will automatically block an officials calendar on the game's date if a game is declined or turned back.
8 votesWe’re not in favor of automatically blocking availability, however, we have incorporated a new feature today which will prompt officials immediately to close their availability for a day when they decline an assignment. To use the new feature, you’ll need to ensure the Availability Locking system (Feature #3) is set to either “Only if unaccepted” or “Never” in order to permit officials to immediately change their calendar when they decline an assignment. This has been completed. We’ve added some new options to the Availability Locking feature in your System Settings that now allow you to be more flexible when locking availability. You can now choose to lock availability (1) as soon as scheduled, (2) only while assignments are unaccepted, (3) only if assignments are unaccepted or declined, (4) never. Allows the editing of travel plans instead of having to delete and create a new entry.
Currently, when you need to make a change to any of the travel intinerary entries, you have to delete the old entry and create an entirely new one. It'd be nice if there was an option to just go in a edit the entry in the case there is a mistake or plans change.

TBAs on iPhones
I have asked before, but could we have the ability to see and respond to TBAs on iPhones on the mobile app?

Only Allow Team Personnel To Select Certain Dropdowns Values When Entering/Editing Their Games
Right now, they can enter in any details, and most just do the minimal amount of work, which messes with Payroll at the end of the month because there are a bunch of inappropriately marked games.
When I create a new A.D. or Team Personnel, HWR should let me multiselect which League, Team, Game Levels, and whether Paid at Game or Assignor Paid.
And whatever I select when adding that user, or editing that user, will be available to the team personnel when adding or editing games.
Would help keep the data and system clean and organized and would save…

allows you to edit the travel itinerary
There needs to be an edit button for information that has been inputted into the travel itinerary so when changes occur you don't have to delete and re-input information.

Better User Groups
Now that you have auto-assigning functionality (still love where you're taking this), it might make sense to look at how groups are created and managed.
For instance, I use groups for the auto-assigning.
I have 6 different groups that represent the highest levels an official can do -- each official belongs in one group only.
Right now, there doesn't seem to be a way to see who is in what groups, and find officials that we haven't yet placed in a group for auto-assigning purposes.
It would be great if there was a screen or a way to see all…
4 votesThis has been completed. You may now view all the groups that a user belongs to by clicking on their name and viewing their Mini Profile. This will display a list of all their group memberships. Additionally, we’ve now also provided an option in the Contact Groups section for you to view a list of all the officials that are not currently in any contact groups and quickly add them to a contact group so no one falls through the cracks. Have an option on Master Schedule to show any combination of Turnbacks, Declines, Open games
I'm surprised this hasn't been introduced already, seems very logical.
All assignors need to see a complete snapshot of games that require their attention.
Over the next two weeks I have over 30 turnbacks, I have no easy way of just showing those games...
I'd love to be able to have the Master Schedule show me all games that require my attention by also selecting turnbacks, declines and open games.

0 votesWe have updated the Acceptance State filter to allow multiple selections. You may now select any combination of Accepted, Declined, Unaccepted or Turnbacks using the Acceptance State filter. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to incorporate the Open Games item into this request as that is controlled with a separate filter at this time, but a filter does already exist for displaying only open games. Need an Eligible/Ineligible "switch"
The Eligible option would be used to indicate officials that have completed all registration & screening requirements. If Ineligible, the official would not appear as available on the assigning screens.

This would make my job, and yours, so much easier.
Use cases I would build today:
A schedule connector for sportngin so when league schedule changed it would sync with Horizon.
Attach game sheets automatically to gsme after they're uploaded.
Connect financial information directly into Xero
Link invoices to Fresh books.
Etc, etc.

Do not require a score to be entered when modifying past games.

List Games in Chronological Order
When I go to the availability calendar and look at days where I already have games the game times are listed out of order and not in chronological order. For example one of my days looks like:
6:45pm-7:45pm
11:15am-12:30pm
12:45pm-2:00pm
8:00pm-9:00pmwhen it should look like:
11:15am-12:30pm
12:45pm-2:00pm
6:45pm-7:45pm

Remove official from all linked games
When I click the red X to remove an official on a linked game, it only removes that official for that game, even when a pair of games are linked. When removing an official on a linked game it would save time by removing that official from all linked games.

If you remove an official from a game that is part of a link set, you will now be prompted with an option to remove them from that single game or from all the games in the link set at once. instead of choosing a game and assigning officials to that game, have the option of choosing the official first and assign multiple games to that official.

Add native French Language Support
Provide a localized version for French that can be user controlled by preference. Menus and system messages would be presented in the language choice of the user. If that can't be done, provide a global language preference for that league.

Update App to allow users to access video
Update the app so users are able to access video files on the iPhone and iPad whiteout having to switch to desktop

As an assignor onthe mobile app I should be able to remove an official from an assignment directly from the master schedule.
Not unlike the desktop master schedule view.
My weekends are slowed down by having to go into game detail views to remove officials so I can then assign another.
This fix would save an enormous amount of time when I'm on the road making updates from my Android or iPad.
Also consider being able to link and unlink games from mobile as well.
More and more people are going mobile first and I would probably use my devices for majority of initial assigning if these were implemented.
4 votesThis has been completed and added to the Tablet version of the system. We have still left it off the mobile phone version of the system due to space constraints, but the tablet version on an iPad or Android tablet will now allow this. Thank you for the idea.

Canceled game filter option to show only games to be rescheduled
I want to select only the cancelled games that still need to be rescheduled.
