Feature Suggestions
This forum is where you can submit ideas you may have for future improvements to our software systems. All ideas submitted are received and read thoroughly and repeatedly. We do not provide individual responses or detailed status updates on feature suggestions, but all your ideas are valued and considered. Some ideas take just a few days, some will take years, and some may not happen, but they all start by submitting them here. Any ideas you have are welcome!

Availability Overview Graph - add "assignment received" or "NO assignment received"
The availability matrix is great. It could be even more useful if you added some function to let the assignor know if that official received games that week or not.
This is very useful in not letting an official "get stale", or go 2-3 weeks without receiving an assignment.
Maybe on top of the original matrix you have a checkbox that says "received games" and it shades all of the refs who got at least one game to a new color. Maybe if they got more than 4 games it shades to a brighter/darker shade of that color. If they…

sends texts when new TBA requests are added.
I have lost a few games due to the fact that I did not see the new TBA requests until I opened e mail. Recieving a text would allow me to respond more quickly. Make it a preference that I could turn on or off.

Schedule filter manipulation
It would be helpful to include in the drop down for schedule filters and easy to select "Current Month" option rather than being forced to enter up to six selections (month, day, year for both beginning and ending dates)

Default Game Start Time
I would like to be able to set a Default Game Start Time. The vast majority of my assignments are in the 4:00 PM hour. It would speed up game entries.

The ability to choose only Home games on Billing Invoices
Our league bills Home teams for the ice and officials fees. Several Organizations do not have "Home Ice Rink" and use different venues for their home games. I would need to be able to sort/filter by Team and choose Home Games only.

Would like to add notes for specific referee's in the directory which can only be viewed by assignor.
Just like refs can do when creating their availability. Have a note by each refs name in the directory so I can view their level with comments. I use over 150 refs, hard to remember everything about everyone when I assign games.
8 votesThis feature has been completed. You can now view/edit notes from the Members Directory for any user. Simply select the new yellow note icon to the left of their name to begin a new note or view/edit existing notes. Viewing/editing notes is only available to schedulers, observers and supervisors. extend available space for notes in availability calendar
I have found that the 30 character limit on notes in the availability calendar is far too little. most often, I need to use the notes to describe a special work scenario. This is usually more in depth than can be described in 30 characters. Generally I would be explaining the potential for a last minute meeting on an unknown day of the week.
With this in mind, I would request that the 30 character limit on note be increased significantly. I would recommend somewhere in the vicinity of 200 characters.

The ability to unpublish multiple games at one time.
Create a feature to be able to unpublish multiple games at one like, just like being able to publish multiple games at one time. Maybe make the publish link button on the master schedule a multi purpose link.

Add Reference number to TBA filters
Can you add the course reference number on to the filters section of the TBA requests screen. This way if you only wanted to search for classes that had a particular reference number to sign up for, you could

Syncs contacts with Google account
Just as you have the calendar sync, add contacts. I love that you have added the "Sync Update" to reflect changes on a game. Now lets add the contacts list. I find myself having to delete, and re-import every few months to keep an accurate listing of all officials.

Master Schedule
List the actual scheduler in the list of officials on the master game schedule. This is useful when trying to pull up a schedule before games are published.

Display anticipated fees to coach when adding a game.
The cost to the team should come up automatically and have to be accepted.

Include Auto Declined Games in the game counters
I would like to see an option to include auto declined games in the # of declined games on the counters page.

Remove Assigned Users from TBA Response Counter
When working under the master schedule. On the far right is the pending number of TBA responses for that particular game. It would be nice if the number displayed only represented the number of TBAs left, not total TBA. ie, if one person sends a TBA response in, and you assign that person to the event, their TBA response should now longer be counted. I think it should only be representative of the TBAs left. Would make it easier to see what events still have open TBA responses or not.

Google Sync Contacts --- by association!
Contacts sync is great -- but having it done with specific associations versus all of them would be much more helpful!

Include "Age" field to export feature
I would like the "Age" field to be included in export feature in Members Directory.

validates email addresses with address tags properly
I would like a feature that allows me to use address tags (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Email_address#Address_tags) in my email address. It is quite an inconvenience for me, as I have my reffing emails sent to a +reffing tagged address, and the emails from Horizon do not go there.
