Feature Suggestions
This forum is where you can submit ideas you may have for future improvements to our software systems. All ideas submitted are received and read thoroughly and repeatedly. We do not provide individual responses or detailed status updates on feature suggestions, but all your ideas are valued and considered. Some ideas take just a few days, some will take years, and some may not happen, but they all start by submitting them here. Any ideas you have are welcome!

The user generated TBA has the same data as Assignor's TBA. (Date/Time/Arena)
This would allow users to know right away if they are available instead of having to sign on and go through the web site. Would also assist the scheduler in knowing faster which games were put up for grabs.

assignor would like to use subset of whole state refs as my default; let me specify one of my groups
I wait 2-3 minutes each time i work on a game for the entire state database to search availability of 200+ refs. Let me specify one of my groups as default, and load time will be much, much less

Official Capability Report
Establish a feature where every member official has a single capability report which could summarize (calculate averages) capability ratings provided by only the Association schedulers (those who know of the official's capabilities). This capability report would be available in a separate column (like the manual ranking column) and would be available to schedulers to open when they are considering assigning an individual. The results of this report would desireably not be available for viewing by the official. A schedulers rating on an official's capabilities could be updated to reflect improved or decreased values at any time but the report will…

TBA Response Icon Feature
Set the TBA Response icon to the right of games, when selected, to display only those officials who have responded to the game's TBA Request. Process to upload all available members then sort by TBA Responses is too time consuming.
2 votesWhen accessing the assigning window for TBA games, the window will now automatically sort by TBA responses. This should eliminate the need to load the entire list and then run the sorting function.

How about the ability to request multiple games and one time? Instead of one game at a time.
If I do not care where I am assigned on a available date. It would help if I could select any and all games on that day instead of each individually
1 voteSelecting multiple games at the same time from the TBA Requests board is not possible, unfortunately, because each TBA game does not necessarily have the same position available for responding to. However, today, we released an upgrade to the TBA system that will allow for faster requesting of games from the TBA Requests board.

A column on the members page of reffing level & yrs experience. It might help with the "Qualified Only" responses.

7 votesThis feature was already somewhat in existence, however, we have added the Home team to the items that are now retained when adding a game. Now, the only items that are not retained are the time and the visiting team as these are the most frequently changed items.

Providing feedback about fellow referees
If we need to do this BEFORE we can do anything else, then the link on the message needs to take us directly there. Right now, I get the message, but have to search for the game that is in question. If I haven't logged on for a while, then I will have to figure out "who" and "what game" we are talking about. More info. is needed if we are passing judgement on our fellows :-)
1 voteAn update has been made to the reminders section. If you have 1 rating to do, the link will take you directly to the rating. If you have 2+ ratings then you will be taken to the schedule page. In the effort of saving space, we cannot provide an individual link for every rating when you have more than one. The list could get very long and take up a great deal of space. There is, however, more information available (and has been for awhile) when you try to access a game. The message will tell you “You cannot view this game until you rate your fellow officials. You have an incomplete rating on 09/16/2010” This date serves as your information to assist you in finding which game is still waiting for a rating. Thanks for the suggestion – we have made a small update to accommodate your request.

Add a position indicator on the printable schedule
The printable schedule shows the names but not the officials' positions on the game

Add to Default Game Schedule Display: CURRENT DATE to END OF SEASON (or a 60 and/or 90 day option).
I don't care about previous games but want to see the current date assignments all the way through the end of season (not just the current 30 days option) so I can easily see any conflicts or scheduling concerns.

The public calendar should have a filter that blocks unpublished games from general members view
Having the public schedule display all games, published and unpublished, allows for cherry picking to take place. The scheduler should be able to choose to have unpublished games not viewable.

adds my availability to new associations added after I've done all the whole calendar for others.
So that when someone adds additional associations they can just click to have the same calendar used.

We have completed a new feature that addresses this issue. We’ve added a warning dialog that will warn you when a new game conflicts with a date/time/location of an existing game. This way you can see before submitting the game whether or not a conflict exists. Thank you for the idea.

Add a reason for turnback requests, just like the decline reason
I love the decline reasons, but I'd like the system to prompt for a reason when a user does a turn back request also

The new option is available from Administrative Forms >> Ratings & Rankings >> Customize Questions. Field Bulk Upload
You should be able to bulk upload fields the same way you do teams. Either upload a file with the addresses themselves or the latitude and longitude.
(I have 290 fields to load and it's going to take me a long time).
