This forum is where you can submit ideas you may have for future improvements to our software systems. All ideas submitted are received and read thoroughly and repeatedly. We do not provide individual responses or detailed status updates on feature suggestions, but all your ideas are valued and considered. Some ideas take just a few days, some will take years, and some may not happen, but they all start by submitting them here. Any ideas you have are welcome!

System Seetings on the apps
Have the system settings work on the mobile apps.
0 votesWe’ve decided not to incorporate this idea at this time. System Settings can drastically change the way the system operates and there are too many advanced features that are controlled. We’ve elected to keep this as a desktop/laptop component only. Thank you for submitting an idea.

Allow Assigners to be assigned to leagues
Allow an assigner to be assigned to leagues in a subscription. That way the assigner receives notifications only regarding leagues he or she assigns in a subscription.

Have a feature that allows the ref association to post a public should to our website. (Excluding Officials names)
We would like the ability to post a schedule to our website so that customers can make sure we have their games on our schedule. We would like to leave out the officials names.

Export payroll summary
Be able export to pdf or word payroll summary report

Automatically email report of scheduled games daily to Assignor.
Please create a reporting area that assignors can use to create reports and have them emailed daily, weekly, etc...
It would be great to have a report emailed that would show the scheduled games for a day with umpires for each game listed.

delete multiple position
would be nice to be able to select multiple positions for deletion.

Full support for 'Stored Password' function in Safari Browser
It would be great if there was full support for the 'stored password' password functionality in he safari browser. Currently when a username is validated the password field is effectively cleared and the password associated with the username is deleted.

Master Game Schedule viewing
Many umpires would like to see the "master schedule" so they know a full list of games. Some umpires look ahead at games, and book their work schedule to accommodate upcoming games. I'd like an option so I can share the master game schedule with all umpires. Currently, I think they can only see their own personal schedule.

allow multiple or mass availability preferences for umpires
Block or repeat availability.
QUESTION:
Is there a way to select, (high light, or block) a group of days (like a Monday through Friday) and set your availability for the selected period. ie "Available after 5:00pm")
It is somehat monotonous to input your availability one day at a time for the entire season.

any member can see the officials scheduled in the public schedule
I am not an assignor, but am an instructor/evaluator, and at times I like to go to the park unannounced to observe and evaluate. It would be beneficial for me to be able to check working umpires on a given night and see if there is someone I need to check in on.

Allow separate email addresses for officials and coaches
I keep my coaching and officiating email addresses separate, so it would be nice to get separate emails...not have emails for open dates or other games come into my email for officiating for example.
Since I have to choose which I am entering when I log in it would be nice to separate communication.1 voteUnfortunately, this is something we’ve evaluated in the past and will not be incorporating into our systems. Thanks for submitting and idea!

Create the ability to share ratings with other association assignors.
The summer association assignor and I work with a number of the same officials across jr. high, high school, college, and summer contests. The ability to share ratings and comments across associations would facilitate the mentoring and development of officials.

Mentorship / Evaluation Assignments
We generally like to have our more experienced umpires, particularly adults, be in attendance to support our younger and less experienced officials throughout the season. We also have games where we need to formally evaluate our officials for the Sport organization.
Would it be possible to schedule those mentorship nights for those involved in that aspect? It would make it easier for us to know who's available for what night, and where they could be used (field-wise).

Observer Metrics
Report out on the # of games that are observed by game code. The league has requested % of games observed and not able to print out observers in master game schedule.

Allows Members to Email non-members or coach contacts listed in entered team info
Currently our assigner has entered host school info for the high schools we are calling games for. We as officials have to contact the coaches prior to our games for various reason. As it is now, we click on the email links in this area of the program and it sends you to the members email area but when you click on the to: draw down all that is there are the umpires. So to send the email I am having to copy past the email address into an external email system.

Availability Locking Options
I would suggest an amendment to Feature #3 for Availability Locking. It would like to see the option for locked only with declined or unaccepted assignments changed so that there is no option, even with accepted assignments to go back and select "Not Available" for the entire day. I would like to see Before, After or In Between hours available so that officials can't go back and say they were unavailable for the entire day even if they've accepted assignments.

Enables the ability to mark the game as paid.
I would like the ability to mark a worked game as paid. Perhaps the ability turn the game a different color when I receive payment.

Schedule view show partner without having to click into the game details.
I would like a column at the far right hand portion of the schedule view that would show my partner and also have the ability to click on my partners name and pull up his contact information quickly.

Allow Documents to contain links to external sites
The documents section is full, however not all documents I have posted need to be hosted in HorizonWebRef. If I could add a document as a link instead of a file upload, I could host or link to documents elsewhere, and have all my documents organized together.
