how about a "CC" function to the e-mail/messaging?
as an umpire,it's alot easier to communicate with both assigners with one e-mail

This feature already exists.

This functionality already exists. Simply go to the Members Directory use the checkboxes to select your email recipients, then click the email selected users button at the top of the page.
