Feature Suggestions
This forum is where you can submit ideas you may have for future improvements to our software systems. All ideas submitted are received and read thoroughly and repeatedly. We do not provide individual responses or detailed status updates on feature suggestions, but all your ideas are valued and considered. Some ideas take just a few days, some will take years, and some may not happen, but they all start by submitting them here. Any ideas you have are welcome!

Allows you to edit travel
Please allow a feature that allows you to edit a travel reservation (hotel or flight) once it has been entered.
Also would be nice to have an option to add connecting flight information.

Allow games to be "Postponed"
I would like an ability to mark games as postponed. Currently, it appears if a game is scheduled my only option is to cancel the game or change game date/time. I would like to have an option to mark the game postponed. That way I do not lose the officials scheduled to that game nor does the game get billed. But later I can identify a new time for the rescheduled game. This occurs due to weather cancellations and such.

33 votesThe system will now prompt for a cancellation reason when cancelling a game. The reasoning is included in email notifications and on the Game Details page. You may also use the Schedule Filters to search specifically for a few of the key cancellations reasons such as weather and postponement to quickly reschedule those games using our regular rescheduling methods. Google Calendar Two-Way Sync
While I do believe that allowing for availability to be set via an officials google calendar, I am thinking first we need a way for Horizon to reach back into a Google calendar and remove a game that has been removed from the schedule. It works great to write it there in the first place, but if it is removed, it leaves it on the calendar.

Ability to include game number on Invoices
I would like the ability to include game numbers on invoices that are sent to the clients.

add tba request page to mobile app
Our association uses your tba feature quite frequently and for some reason i can't access TBA requests on my mobile app. I have to log into the full site on my laptop.

mass availability update feature in Android APp
YOu can only do a day at a time in the android app. It would be nice to have the mass update featue available.

When using mileage reimbursement system, do not require an input with every assignment
Either:
1) Allow a blank value in the assigning window
OR
2) If you don't want to allow a blank value in the drop down, have an option to set $0.00 as default in the mileage table.
Requiring assignors to enter both a position and the mileage amount from two drop downs significantly slows down the assigning process.
I'm going to have to remove this feature and do mileage on another system now.
8 votesWe’ve issued an update to the mileage tables that now allows you to restrict the mileage vales only to certain leagues and/or game codes. This should help with this situation since any game that has no applicable mileage values will auto-fill to $0.00 as you’re describing.
Restricting your mileages only to the applicable leagues or game codes will now help alleviate the need to select $0.00 on game types that don’t need mileage payments and only require a selection on the game types that have potential mileage values.

Online Payment
As an alternative to WePay, perhaps you could use the Stripe.com or the balancedpayments.com API to utilize ACH transfers.
Biggest problem with WePay is the % fee involved and getting hundreds of officials to create an account.
Utilizing Balanced Payments or Stripe, all we would have to do is collect their bank account information and send out the payments to them directly into their bank account.
Both services fee is just .25 per transfer, which I'm OK covering since it's so minimal.

Our new Payment Center provider is now serviced by Dwolla which affords the option to have much better pricing and is also much easier and simpler to setup and use regularly when compared to WePay. would allow specific "groups" to be invited to meetings without having to invite them one at a time OR invite all, then go back and delete.
Not all of our meetings require the attendance of all 90 of our officials.

You can still invite ALL, but there are now additional options available to invite just a specific contact group instead. Mobile Apps E-mail
I like the mobile apps; however, it doesn't appear that you can select more than one e-mail address. As an example, if I have a 10 man crew and need to send a quick e-mail to them, I can only seem to be able to select one person rather than all 10.

Add Officials Numberplate to Coaches rating form
I have had complaints from coaches that they don't know the officials names when conducting ratings (Crew wear #'s), If we can add the Numberplate of the officials working the game next to his name for the rating to the coaches and observers

Allow Calendar to be viewed by URL
This would allow other calendars (e.g. Google Calendar, Cozi, Etc.) to show appointments from this calendar on theirs.

The link, provided at the top of your Game Schedule page (using the non-mobile version of the system) will allow you to copy the link to any outside calendar program that supports the iCal file format to automatically synchronize your calendar of assignments. Would like to be able to specify who gets sent incident reports by league
Would like to have the ability to specify by league who gets sent a copy of the incident reports instead of everyone getting every incident report.
7 votesThis has been completed. Organizations may now specify league-specific emails to send incident reports to. This will not override the global setting in your system settings. If you have emails listed in your System Settings for incident reports, the new field (found under the Edit-League option) will provide emails in addition to your global settings that are league specific. Summary of League Billing
Would like to have the functionality to create a billing report similar to the Payroll Summary Report, but for the leagues instead.

Be able to request new features from App or via mobile phone browser
From what I have seen, the only way to make requests to add new feature is on a computer. Make the new feature request a link somewhere on the site so that you can be on a mobile device and still make new requests.

Billing Invoice to hide (lump sum) scheduler fees on League/Team Invoice
We would like the ability for client invoices to show the total amount of the invoice (officiating positions + scheduling fees), but as a lump sum instead of separating the scheduler fees.

Age Restriction Scheduling
I would like to be able to restrict scheduling of officials by age. An example would be, we do not want a 14 year old officiating an 18U game. It would be nice to see a feature where we can set the minimum age required to officiate a certain level game. If we could add that minimum age restriction to the game code and then have it reference the age of the official as a requirement of availability for the game.
4 votesThis has been completed. Age Based scheduling restrictions may now be set to automatically filter out officials that don’t meet the minimum age requirement. To use, you must first activate the feature (labeled feature #11 in your System Settings). You’ll then need to subsequently edit your positions to include the minimum age for each positions. Have an option to not show the position deduction on the schedulers pay report.
Our association takes a deduction from the amount billed to the league but does not pay this to the scheduler. Currently this deduction shows on the schedulers pay report, I would like to have the option to not show this deduction on the scheduler report.
