This forum is where you can submit ideas you may have for future improvements to our software systems. All ideas submitted are received and read thoroughly and repeatedly. We do not provide individual responses or detailed status updates on feature suggestions, but all your ideas are valued and considered. Some ideas take just a few days, some will take years, and some may not happen, but they all start by submitting them here. Any ideas you have are welcome!

TBA by distribution list
Can you create a TBA that would only send out to a specific distribution list. For example, when you go to send out a TBA for a class, could it also include a drop down list so that you could select which email blast group that you want to send the TBA's out to instead of sending the TBA out to everyone.
5 votesThis has been completed. The TBA Request system now allows you to selectively send TBAs to selected individuals, contact groups or filter by Manual Ranking. iphone app and ical
you obviously know how to export in the ical format. Why can't you download the ical in the iphone app? Because this is not there I still have to go onto the website from my Iphone to download the ical to get my games on my calendar.

Would display the shift end times
Hi, I have been asked to submit my departments schedule each Monday. I would like have the end of shift times to be displayed on both the printable and non printable schedules. Is this possible?

Memo/text reason for single cancel games
add memo or text reason for why games was cancelled.
4 votesThe system will now prompt for a cancellation reason when cancelling a game. The reasoning is included in email notifications and on the Game Details page. You may also use the Schedule Filters to search specifically for a few of the key cancellations reasons such as weather and postponement to quickly reschedule those games using our regular rescheduling methods. Change Colour of the NOTE image
It would be a fantastic benefit if you could change the NOTE image on the Master Game schedule form the current "Yellow" that is on every game to say "Green" when a note has been added a game. One does not know that they have add a NOTE on a game without having to make paper records. With say 20 games listed and you place a note on 1 of 20 you would have to read the game details on 19 games to get to the one with the note. If you can add TBA images to the gallery it…
1 voteThe note icon will now display a counter over the icon indicating how many notes have been entered so far. The counter only displays if at least 1 note exists. If no notes exist, the counter will remain empty and just the icon will display, as before. Games will notes will now be able to be identified as having notes quickly by viewing the counter on the icon. Thank you for the idea.

create a 1099 form
Can we create a form that would be lined up with a federal 1099 form so that we could select filters for a given pay year and print out 1099 forms for our officials.

Online Payment
As an alternative to WePay, perhaps you could use the Stripe.com or the balancedpayments.com API to utilize ACH transfers.
Biggest problem with WePay is the % fee involved and getting hundreds of officials to create an account.
Utilizing Balanced Payments or Stripe, all we would have to do is collect their bank account information and send out the payments to them directly into their bank account.
Both services fee is just .25 per transfer, which I'm OK covering since it's so minimal.

Our new Payment Center provider is now serviced by Dwolla which affords the option to have much better pricing and is also much easier and simpler to setup and use regularly when compared to WePay. Home Team View for Tournaments
Allow "Arena" to view games....when we have tournaments for coaches to receive assignments and ratings we need to place the actual teams in the games and the Arena is who is holding the Tournament. Today the teams hosting the tournament cant see the games if the games are not their institutions. Can the School View include the games the school is playing in as well as all the games played in that Arena. So if Oswego State is hosting a tournament with 3 other teams they can see all games in the tournament.
4 votesThis has been completed. A new user type now exists for “Venue Personnel”. The new user type will allow you to associate a user to a particular venue so they may view all games occurring at that venue, regardless of teams. For your ADs that wish to see their team schedule and their venue schedule, you’ll simply need to add a second set of user permission to their account. This would be done just like adding a new user, just use the same email address as their existing account and choose the Venue Personnel user type. Thank you for the idea.

When using mileage reimbursement system, do not require an input with every assignment
Either:
1) Allow a blank value in the assigning window
OR
2) If you don't want to allow a blank value in the drop down, have an option to set $0.00 as default in the mileage table.
Requiring assignors to enter both a position and the mileage amount from two drop downs significantly slows down the assigning process.
I'm going to have to remove this feature and do mileage on another system now.
8 votesWe’ve issued an update to the mileage tables that now allows you to restrict the mileage vales only to certain leagues and/or game codes. This should help with this situation since any game that has no applicable mileage values will auto-fill to $0.00 as you’re describing.
Restricting your mileages only to the applicable leagues or game codes will now help alleviate the need to select $0.00 on game types that don’t need mileage payments and only require a selection on the game types that have potential mileage values.

add tba request page to mobile app
Our association uses your tba feature quite frequently and for some reason i can't access TBA requests on my mobile app. I have to log into the full site on my laptop.

Observer Name listed
Can the observer name in the Rating system be added versus identifying as "fellow official" - from a assignors standpoint would like to know who the observer is to follow up with them.

would allow specific "groups" to be invited to meetings without having to invite them one at a time OR invite all, then go back and delete.
Not all of our meetings require the attendance of all 90 of our officials.
11 votesThis has been completed. You can now choose a custom contact group when inviting users to a meeting on your system. You can still invite ALL, but there are now additional options available to invite just a specific contact group instead. Google Calendar Two-Way Sync
While I do believe that allowing for availability to be set via an officials google calendar, I am thinking first we need a way for Horizon to reach back into a Google calendar and remove a game that has been removed from the schedule. It works great to write it there in the first place, but if it is removed, it leaves it on the calendar.

Social Secuity #'s
Ensure that social security number are complete in system XXX-XX-XXXX - if it doesn't can an error message be generated. Today officials can have incomplete SS # in system.

Allows assignor to see who submitted coaches ratings
For Coaches ratings it's imperative the assignors can see what coach submitted the rating. Today it is anonymous and we cant tie a rating to a specific coach or Team.
1 voteAn update has been issued that will now address this feature. Coaches are now given the option on whether they want to make their rating anonymous or not. In order to facilitate honest ratings and comments we felt it to be important to still allow anonymous ratings. However, for those coaches that don’t mind including their name with their rating, they may now do so. Each rating submitted can be marked as anonymous or identified (not-anonymous) which allows the submitter to choose whether or not to include their name. Hope that helps. Thank you.

Allows you to edit travel
Please allow a feature that allows you to edit a travel reservation (hotel or flight) once it has been entered.
Also would be nice to have an option to add connecting flight information.

Ability to include game number on Invoices
I would like the ability to include game numbers on invoices that are sent to the clients.

mass availability update feature in Android APp
YOu can only do a day at a time in the android app. It would be nice to have the mass update featue available.
