This forum is where you can submit ideas you may have for future improvements to our software systems. All ideas submitted are received and read thoroughly and repeatedly. We do not provide individual responses or detailed status updates on feature suggestions, but all your ideas are valued and considered.   1. Prevent unwanted multiple positions from assignment

    For baseball, we almost always have 1 plate umpire, 1 base umpire. When i created the positions, 1 base umpire max / 1 plate umpire max was specified. Change the assigning software to prevent me from assigning 2 or more base / plate umpires when i have specified a max of 1.

  2. recurring meeting

    I would like to have the option to add a recurring meeting, similar to the recurring game. We have a general meeting every week during the season and I'd like to be able to add a weekly meeting.

  3. allows an assignor or administrator to mark games paid even if not using the built in pay system

    It would be useful to show what has been paid to officials when using other methods to make payment

  5. Include games assigned in availability CSV export

    My cohort in assigning likes to work from the availability export ro .csv for weekend days. Currently, if is an official si available all day that item shows as does notes under availability. Games assigned for that day already do not show up in this export, you have to run over the icon on the availability screen. Cumbersome. Thank you for consideration.

  6. Decline and Turn Back reporting to include the position originally assigned to

    While it is nice to have the basic information of match date, time, competition included in the counter listing, could you also please add the Position that they were assigned to when they declined/turned back an appointment.

  7. Based on certain criteria, automatically apply a pre-defined travel fee to games

    Would make our assignors lives a bit easier if there was a way to tell the travel/mileage system to automatically apply a travel fee for each official on the game if certain criteria are met.

    I know not all associations have this, but most I know do some sort of single game fee.

    Example:

    Automatically add $5 travel to each official on all games that are:

    Example League, Mite, Squirt or Peewee, Do not have a game within X minutes of the start time or end time of game in question.

  9. Rotate Positions for umpires on linked games automatically

    would like to see a feature added where the Plate umpire and Base Umpire automatically is rotated on link games when you assign them games

  10. Add Position Filter for Finance Reports

    In the Finance Forms it would be a great benefit to be able to produce the Forms with a selection for Position so in our case the Umpire Mentors could be selected and payment invoices generated through the use of the Finance Forms

  11. Allow game counters from past years

    Allow the game counters to be viewed from past seasons. It would be useful to see how many games an official did from season to season. It would also be nice to see how many games an official declined, turned back, etc. each year and be able to retrieve that information from past years.

  12. Mandatory Meeting

    When creating Meetings, an option to make the meeting mandatory should be available. By selecting the mandatory option, the meeting would function similar to a game in that it will show on the officials calendar and effect official availability. Conversely, an non-mandatory meeting would continue to function as it does today.

    As officials' individual calendars can be shared among different associations/leagues and update simultaneously, this would help officials manage their calendars and availability better. It would also assist in preventing assignors from in other associations/leagues from scheduling the official when they need to attend a meeting.

  13. Automatically block officials from working when "My (Their) Team" is playing.

    Allow another feature where umpires select the team(s) they play in which automatically makes them unavailable for the times they are playing

  14. Recognize blocks on moved games

    Please honor blocks when a game is moved to a day that I have blocked out. I've had 2 instances where a game was moved to a day that was blocked out. I was told by my assignor that the site doesn't show a conflict for an official who is blocked when a game is moved.

  15. Reason/Comment accompanying Unassigning an official

    It would be nice (and maybe an easy change request?) to give the Assignor a pop-up that allows him/her to write text of why they are un-assigning a game from an official, when they un-assign someone. This would prevent separate emails or texts/etc, having to be sent. This would be similar to an official giving a Reason when he/she declines/turns back a game

  16. See date TBA was submitted

    With 1000+ players, 70+ umpires, 80+ teams, 50+ games per week, I have a lot of games to assign. I like the TBA system. But with lower level divisions, I need to do some games first-come, first-served assignments. If you could add the date the request was submitted to the TBA screen that appears when you click on TBA in the game assignment function, this would be a tremendous help. You put it on the email you send me of the TBA request notification so it is in your system

  17. Schedule Update - Upload CSV

    When I update games (date/time/venue/etc) one-by-one the system sends the assigned officials a single message that says something has changed and they need to re-accept.

    When I upload a CSV, all updated games are un-published and the system sends all assigned officials an email that they have been removed from the game

    The assigner is then required to publish the games again, when this happens the officials are sent a new email saying they have new games.

    This is confusing for officials and gives them the impression that games have been removed and not changed..

  18. Distinguish between "game added" and "game rescheduled" in emails

    When a game is canceled then rescheduled, an email goes out saying a game was "added." This creates mass confusion!

  19. Ability to record No Shows

    The issue of No Shows is always a problem & currently I record it as a declined game after the event so that I have some way of keeping track, however, this means I must delete all the real declined games on the day of the game so I have no way of keeping track of these.

  20. Highlight games that are not fully assigned in the Master Schedule

    I see that you have declined this request in the past, but please reconsider.

    When you have a busy schedule it would be much more efficient to be prompted in the schedule itself for missing assignments..even if the # column highlighted, or changed colors.

    When you have many games with a limited number of officials its beneficial to view missing slots with the surrounding assignments....this is why filters aren't necessarily the best option
