Feature Suggestions
This forum is where you can submit ideas you may have for future improvements to our software systems. All ideas submitted are received and read thoroughly and repeatedly. We do not provide individual responses or detailed status updates on feature suggestions, but all your ideas are valued and considered. Some ideas take just a few days, some will take years, and some may not happen, but they all start by submitting them here. Any ideas you have are welcome!

Allow Athletic Directors to be linked to SITES in addition to a school.
When setting relations - allow an AD to be linked to a field/gym etc... instead of just to a school.

Get email receipt of all emails sent out in Assoc
To have the option as the owner of the association, to receive all emails that have been sent out by others, regardless if recipient or not.
Have option to turn on and off this feature.
Sometimes its good to know what your contractors are contacting others about through your site (and they don't want you to see, so don't add you).

Allow admin to create custom form or document that users must agree to before access given (or re-given) to the system.
If a particular league has rules or guidelines that officials must agree to before being allowed to take games, have this form built into Horizon so administrators can easily track responses.
1 voteThis functionality already exists via our “Association Policy” feature in your System Settings. This policy requires your officials to accept the documented policy prior to them gaining access to your system.

adding an aditional mobile phone number for verification purposes
I do not have a land line nor do I know of anyone that does, I do not get along with my job as far as personal items, so I do not want to use them. As the administrator of our league, I do have a second man in control that I trust and would like to use his mobile number for the second verification process. How do I go about doing so?

Color code officials name by group in Availability chart
In overview availability chart color code names by Group of officials. For example, have Referee names in one color, and Timekeepers names in a different color.

Members Directory Privacy
I deal with many Clients and give them "Association Personnel" rights. I would appreciate the option to not share my Officials personal contact information with them.
Those Clients have no right to have access to their information and could be legal issues of a third party contact without their consent.
I request this is looked at with serious thought!
3 votesThis functionality already exists. Association Personnel cannot access the list of Officials. Only users in the Officials group may access this list.

Block the directory from umpires unless assigned with a partner
We have some guys on our roster that use our directory to search umpires for games outside of our association. I would like to be able to keep them from using the directory to do this unless they are assigned to a game and need to contact their partner.

Incident Reports without Teams
Need to be able to use teams to open incident reporting but need home/away function to have the option to be turned off. Travel ball organizations don't establish home/away until minutes before game time via coin toss. This has been confusing for our coaches and umpires.

Adding Drop Down For Airports under Flights
It would be great if you could add a drop down for airports that were previously used similar to the hotels. This will make inputting flights go quicker!

Observer Metrics
Report out on the # of games that are observed by game code. The league has requested % of games observed and not able to print out observers in master game schedule.

Availability Locking Options
I would suggest an amendment to Feature #3 for Availability Locking. It would like to see the option for locked only with declined or unaccepted assignments changed so that there is no option, even with accepted assignments to go back and select "Not Available" for the entire day. I would like to see Before, After or In Between hours available so that officials can't go back and say they were unavailable for the entire day even if they've accepted assignments.

Enter important dates onto the calendar
I would like to see a feature that would allow us to enter important dates into the calendar. Such as availability required by dates or pay dates. We would then be able to set reminders for the dates.

Post - Game form to include a URL link
We require our mentors to complete a post game report form on the mentorees. That form exists on our website and allows all schedulers to look at a Google Doc of everyone who has been mentored. I would like to be able to add that URL for the form be sent after the game with a reminder. The form needs only to go to the position = mentor. Can you modify another feature like your post game report feature to allow me to place a URL on it this going into next season?

Change exporting format on custom profile fields
When exporting custom profile fields:
- merge fields into 1 record per user?

Notify Administrators of User Profile Changes
If a user changes a mailing address, phone number, or custom profile field. Have a feature able to be turned on to notify Administrators of the change. Currently when an official changes a mailing address, they need to notify my as well. I create contact groups based on user entered custom field entries, so when those change I would like to update my contact group.

Does not require street numbers for google maps
Many locations in Australia can be referenced in Google Maps by name and do not require street numbers (when adding venue).
