This forum is where you can submit ideas you may have for future improvements to our software systems. All ideas submitted are received and read thoroughly and repeatedly. We do not provide individual responses or detailed status updates on feature suggestions, but all your ideas are valued and considered. Is it possible to see the rinks the official is at during the day in addition to the last rink of the day?
When looking at the schedule of officials, a scheduler can see that a certain official is already on other games by the red triangle with the exclamation point. However, only the last rink is visible. In the example below, the official is at South Suburban – Rink 1
This is an extreme example of someone who is already on many games in one day, but they are not at the same rink all day long. game ID?
Is there a way to include our own game number into the schedule as opposed to your Game ID?

List the name of the TOWN, ST after the name of the rink
Or can you make that a filter option. Listing by states or even towns would be helpful. Even scrolling down the list of rink names if they also had the ( town name, state ) also
1 voteWe've decided to keep our existing functionality for this. We leave location name formatting up to the individual officiating organizations and allow them to decide how best to format the names of their locations. We recommend recaching out to your officiating organization if you'd like to see changes to their naming scheme.

On the main schedule page, be able to click on the game notes and see what the pay is for each position before you schedule officials.
I would like to be able to see the pay for each position when looking at the main schedule. Either click on the 0/2 officials and have it drop down and tell me what the pay is for each slot, or click on the game notes before I schedule officials and have it show what each position pays.

Make availability calendars OPEN by default instead of closed.
Make the default setting on officials availability calanders as OPEN instead of closed. This would make assigning so much easier than having officals to go in and manually open up dates

The ability to add Bill Tos on a CVS import.
Being able to add multiple Bill To's on import with a CVS would be very helpful.

Tournament set up
On a regular basis we have school holiday tournaments or school tournament that run over the course of a few days and are separate from the week to week championships.
It would be good to have a separtate match schedule within horizon to register and appoitnt available referees.1 voteAlready exists.

Require Game Reports from Officials
This function should be able to be toggled by league and/or game code. If operating multiple leagues not all require the game report to be submitted online but some do.

Archive officials who have left the association (in case they decide to come back).
We have officials that have decided to leave the association that may decide to come back. Instead of deleting them, can we have a feature to archive them so we can re-add them to the membership directory.
1 voteThis functionality already exists either by setting the user to a Not Ready status or simply by deactivating / deleting the user. Deleting / deactivating a user will still allow you to re-add the user later at some point and nearly all of their history will return.

allows officials to edit under their profile
I believe that officials should be able to make changes to their assignments under their profile. There are many instances where I have been assigned games and the number of assignments changes when I get to the location especially doing tournaments. Also, when you do a game for an assignor or scheduler not under your profile then there is no way to capture these games under your profile. This causes you to have to keep another log. Is there a way to capture these new or changed games? I think there should be a way of capturing these games under…

Doesn't allow duplicate games and game times for same rink etc.
system should not allow duplicate games to be created on same time and same ice surface/rink
1 voteUnfortunately, this is something we’ve decided not to incorporate. The system already displays warnings about this situation to schedulers, but there are circumstances where some schedulers may want to intentionally create a duplicate game. We’re not in favor of completely blocking this action. Instead, we’ll focus on providing warnings & alerts and allow schedulers to decide how to proceed. Thank you for submitting an idea.

Decline/Turnback Data
Horizon allows assignor's to charge a fee for each game declined or turned back. It maintains a count of how many games each official declines/turns back, but does it also maintain a specific record detailing each game/date? At the end of the season when we send invoices out to officials, the assignor only seems to be able to retrieve a report where these fees as listed under "adjustments." This immediately leads to officials sending emails like: "I didn't decline any game!" or "What games did I decline?" Can this information be readily pulled from Horizon?

Mass Delete Positions - NEEDS WORK!
Someone has requested this and Engineer team stated there is an option, which there is not.
When in "Mass Edit Positions", there is no option to select all, multiple, or individual boxes in order to remove more than one position.
If there is a way, please share as I have tried all possible ways and can't find how to click more than one position in order to delete...only single positions at a time.

Able to Assign an official instead of only offer them an assignment.
There are times we need to just assign them a game because the game was missed and they stepped up to cover. It would help.

Allows schedulers to see and assign TBA requests from Master Game Schedule
We use the TBA system exclusively. Once umpires are assigned to a game, the Master Game Schedule shows the names of the assigned officials and allows us to cancel an assignment if we want by clicking the X box. The TBA system would be easier to use if the MGS displayed the names of all officials who have requested TBA assignments for the games on the schedule. Right now we just see the number of officials who have responded, but if those officials get assigned to other games, the number doesn't go down and so schedulers need to go into…

Include position in assignment emails
Include the role/position the assignment is for in the email to the assigned referee.

Auto Linking feature needs tweaking
When using the auto link feature, it is making officials unnecessarily move fields. Here is scenario:
Field A has 3 games at 6:45, 7:45, and 8:45
Field B at the same complex has 4 games at 6:45, 7:45, 8:45, and 9:45.
When using the autolink feature, it takes Umpire A and gives them the 3 games on field A and the 9:45 on Field B instead of giving 3 games to umpire A and 4 games to Umpire B.
It doesn't matter that the complex is the same, the fields are different and the umpire assigned to field B should…
